hi,
a few things i want to mention since i've been "researching" stella and wanted to point out a few things.
1. Don't put any SP into Soul Scream
costs alot of SF, deals no damage, only useful for pvp or later with expansion.
2. Orb Song - healing expansion.
500 attack is ~ 8% of your total AP for 15s, thats a long time, especially useful for leveling.
I use it before big elites spawn to buff my 42 skill/Spirit Swamp.
Additional sideeffect - your orbs actually do damage if you decide to use the dps one.
3. Skill Combos

1 - Mobbing, fastest access to howling
2 - swamp on instant access, you dont want to use another skill before pulling mob/boss
3 - filler, "ranged autoattack"
4- bread and butter dps-rotation
5 - setup for elites, killing mobs
6 - same CD, makes sure you keep up both buffs and ultimates with 45s.
Just wanted to point out a few other options that most ppl just likely ignore.

1. Soul Scream/Soul Cry really depends on pve/pvp usage. I agree to leave it at 1/5 if you don't pvp at all.
2. It's different for everybody, but it doesn't change the fact that the scaling gets worse and worse. For my gear, 500 attack is less than 6% extra damage, for 9 skill points that's not a good investment.
and thats where you are mistaken, unlike the tooldescription its only flat 50atk. Feel free to test it ingame.

You're right, mistranslated tooltip, but the point still stands. 5-6% extra damage for 9 skill points is pretty mediocre value and only gets worse as better gear comes out. Considering we don't get free skill resets, investing in skills just for leveling is a pretty bad idea.

I'm not forcing you to take this, but a 5%+ boost that is not only a solo, but a partybuff and comes with literally 100% uptime(15%weapon+5possible gears to roll CD on+pre-casting) (15s duration, 25% CDR for 100% uptime) sounds pretty invaluable to me, especially when you slot it with your ultimate. just wanted to point out thats its not that bad as people make it sound.

People will never care about your orbs unless they're almost dead or just hungry. I mean, if you're in a team and you coordinate it sure, but even then it's never going to be used for that attack buff by your party ![]()

Bass Wave: 5/5 - Mandatory
Stella's "Ultimate Skill". It deals crazy amounts of damage in a large radius.
Summons 4 speakers where the corners of a square would be in front of Stella. The skill grants invincibility, but it cannot be cancelled or dodge cancelled, except with the use of Supernova/Hysteria. This is a great skill to use when a boss is SA broken, as it prevents them from casually strolling out of the range.
Press LMB to attack with the left speakers, and RMB to attack with the right ones.
It can also be cancelled with "Reset Position", if available.

Although niche, that's good advice. I'll add it to the guide, thanks!
Nice work! Nice soulwork
Thank you, cute Stella

OMG this is you Natty!? sorry for the late reply lol I just joined
loved the guide ![]()
Cooldownrotation for Stella with 20% CDR(Gear)
1. Orb Song -> Bass Wave
Buffs your Bass Wave, recommend to put down 3 to take one orb afterwards to keep the buff.
2. Phantom Trail -> Spirit Swamp
Good for mobbing, 2nd highest DPS.
3. Howling Hunt -> Rhythm Keeper
Easier access to SF-Buff.
4. Rift Riff -> Spectral Pit
Main Damage source.
5. Whirlwind -> Howler Parade
Mobbing Rotation.
6. Sonic Pulse -> Soul Cry
Filler, use 6 again to immediatly cancel and gain iframe.
Hope it helps a few Stellas out there.
btw i found out that Sonic Pulse/Spirit Swamp can be canceled right away with Soul Cry without needing to dodge.
Learning something new every day! Hopes helps out other people too.

Soul Cry functions as a basic animation cancel for any ability that can have its animation canceled, minus Bass Wave which can only be canceled by using Nova.

Which skill would you use in combination though? Other skills dont seem to be worth taking over it, given its not a combostarter

This game isn't reliant on things like rotations or openers. I have my Soul Cry up to phase 2 with Bass Wave on phase 3 for easier access to Bass Wave.
Thank you for this! I really love that you included card recommendations too. ![]()
Question, what key do you use for the Orb song? Can't manage to figure it out. :-:
