And Suzie: Yee, wonderfull name for an end game boss. It inspires so much respect, kappa

ya and google translate, plus original names are better, a name is important and makes the character to be lively, tbh those are fugly names. Rip Poison as well.
Well no use complaining, how about we think of solving that issue? However the question is if GF is aware of this and interested in improve the localisation. They are the ones who need to change the "local keys", we can make suggestions of what to improve nut that's it.

If this is true, I need to have a chat with whoever at Lion Games okayed the translations. Just to understand why they thought our tiny baboon minds wouldn't be able to handle Shion.
Not to mention if you REALLY are worried about localization, how about how how jarring it is for anyone who watches the cutscenes and hear SHION! and the subtitles read SUZIE!

Considering how many moonrunes you have to stare at, there's going to be obvious discrepancies when the translation doesn't match up to the spoken word.
And then you just shove it on players to find errors.
Pretty sure the game was translated by people who didn't understand the English language as well as a native speaker (talking here for the NA/EN version). Its why the dialogue is so bad.

Okay that statement is limited to that one name specifically. That's was what i wanted to know. Changing the names of characters and cities isn't uncommon for localisation. It's something that might as well stay as it is. However some names are really strange and should be changed, like the mentioned Luke III. Some of the bosses names have the same issue.

Yes, and that is not good because like i said before they're totally ruining characters essence and then the game it self.
Same thing, still doesn't say the won't consider when it really sounds strange. It's more like a "not gonna waste time and money on such a minor detail". No need to write German here by the way.
Also, changing personality also happens in localisation. Look at Henry from Fire Emblem Awakening.
Name changes for cities, objects and characters are in 99% of cases just plain stupid. I can't fathom what localization teams even think when doing this. There never was, is or will be a need to "westernize" stuff from asia. Why? People playing these games usually don't look for western stuff in an asia game. People want those original names. I haven't gotten far enough yet to know who Shion is yet but seeing their name being localized to Suzie makes me wanna vomit all over my desk. These atrocities need to stop. Read the german post as well... I am... I can't call it any less than that... disgusted.
Very rarely name changes make sense for certain things or people. But I have yet to see such a case here on SW. This is beyond stupid.
