Greetings everyone!

  • A hearty hello from NYC. The quick & short about me. I've been gaming for almost 3 decades now. While I did start to play games in 1986 on the Atari 2600, I would not start to really take it as a serious hobby/pastime until 1989. The first two games that I would end up playing would be Space Invaders & Battle Chess. Both on MS-Dos based systems at a local Kips Bay. Since that point, I have been an active gamer across many platforms. Through my passion of gaming, I would end up competing as a pro player for the game Unreal Tournament from 2000-2001. That was short lived as I was good at the game.... but not that good lol. It was also due to the fact that I was becoming more active in the quickly growing MMORPG genre. A genre that I have spent a lot of time & money in. I would shift my focus from FPS games to MMORPG's. Through my love of this genre, I would end up joining the Curse.com team. Mainly, their Final Fantasy XI division where I would grow to become a moderator for the community. I would later be shifted to FFXIV Core where they would make be one of the senior moderators for that community. Did that for a few years before the site was dropped from Curse. It's been nothing but gaming since that point lol. When I am not gaming, I enjoy cooking, traveling & photography.

Really looking forward to this game. Hoping to see & play with you all down the road!

  • Aww, I remember some ms-dos games. I remember one with a helicopter, can't think of the name, and I could never pass the first level, and another called monster maker, or creator. We were pretty desperate for good games at that point. I had a commodor 64, wish I still had it! I played my first online game on Prodigy at that point. It was called Rebel Space, and was basically a turned based space conquest game. You made your moves, updated them to the server, then got a detailed printout of what happened..taking planets, ship to ship fights, etc. It was great fun. The Dev team had two people working on it, you could contact them anytime.
