    I couldn't solo maniac until I had at minimum a +4 weapon. Getting higher makes it exponentially easier. I started to struggle with my +5 21 wep around Wolf Cry, which is when I upgraded to a +6 32 and breezed through again. Pre-bought the 40 stuff because these sets (16, 26, 40) are all very powerful in comparison to other gear and I had skipped the last 2 (sans armor) out of lack of funds. Only need armor to +4 for bonus, if even enhanced at all.. but I like having a safety net due to poor netcode/laggy servers/clustertruck of enemies/steel graves. Expected this to carry me to 55, which is why I invested so much into it.


    I tested out enhancing lower level weapons (pre-10) after posting. Gotten to +7 numerous times before breaking, even 1-6 100% multiple times over. Either I had atrocious luck on my 40 gear, or the difficulty to enhance higher level/rarity stuff goes up a lot.. probably both. All but 2 of my ~15 protected enhancements so far would've been destroyed by comparison.


    Regardless, it's still an awful experience, and now I have to grind and bust my ass to get back everything I've lost from this. Sure hope the rate of acquisition increases dramatically as I level up more.. can barely sell anything on the market, and if you do it's pennies unless rolled well.

    I feel so sorry for people who waste enhance protectors on anything else than GC or Primal/Saurus gear. They'll regret is so much later on. Kek.

    Are you dumb or just too much into shitposting that you forget to think? 20 protectors when you can get 9 for free in a daily basis doesn't mean shit. If you make a comparison on upgrade materials vs. protectors you get you'll see the exponential increase in amount for the second.

    Still you gotta make enough money in this same time window to buy the materials and keep up with the protection consumables. Not to mention you don't have the mentioned sets from day one. There's also the time wait for content expansion.


    Unless the set would pop up magically in my inventory right now, I will have enough protection scrolls to spend in the right time.

    Also, I'm counting 9/day not considering buying any of them with grutin gold (which is from 250 to 400 per character).

    Not everyone only plans to play only 1 character, some people like to play multiple characters so we can't just freely make and delete them constantly like that.     Yeah, well, even in this scenario in which the person can only dedicate 1 slot for temporary characters, it's still not that bad. As I said in my previous answer, you can make 9/day excluding the grutin gold you also get with the alt character, considering it'll take a while (counting from now) to get those sets with decent random options & the materials/resources to upgrade them. Also, if someone has only 1 slot to do it, they should be a bit more cautions when using their Anti-Destruction, which makes Ice+'s statement not an universal rule as he seemed so confident of (I know it was pure shitpost) - so, the correct phrasing would be "I feel sorry for those [...] they might regret it so much later on if they don't top-up cash nor farm on alts".


    The rise of this hypothesis by you only proves you can never assume people's resources and based on this assumption try to make fun of them. Not to mention, of course, as time is a variable in this matter the player's personal gaming pace shall be taken in account - as someone who plays slow-paced will get more Anti-Destruction Thingies than they can actually spend on their gears.

    Well you can actually get 7 anti-destructions per character a day in like 3ish hours. You get 4 anti-destructions from the first town completion, and then when you get to the second town you get a side quest right away that gives you another 3 anti-destructions, and you only have to upgrade any piece of gear once.

    oh screw soloing maniac lmao but thats just me, I failed to get +4 7 times in a row, and all my money was gone, so i learned my lesson fast LOL. i don't care if i die since grinding mobs is more EP efficient and if I wanted to clear I'd party


    well on a more serious note, I heard 9k damage is recommended for that Golden Citadel raid that drops the aurite stuff but I don't see myself enhancing past +7 which seems to be about 7k damage, maybe 8k. Heard this from someone who plays in JP, but he also only duos/trios with friends and high ping = worse dps. Standards might be high in JP cause the mats and protection items are more abundant


    fo real tho, im not gonna grind alts just so i can enhance filler gear, that sounds absolutely pointless

    Request to ban people who abuse free QBD farming by doing dungeon completion in Rucco, then delete their characters and repeat the process.

    I never saw GF doing something like that. However I wouldn't be surprised if they change them so, that you can't store the anti-destructions in the bank.

    There are ways to farm everything you need to +9 a weapon, you just have to be really demented to do it, with enough time/luck anyone can have it, but then again why waste time on garbage equips right now? Just chill and wait for GC/Primal and then go full retarded.
