I didn't even want these. I already have both VIPs too. It's a ridiculous bundle honestly, the emote is cute but like piling it with a bunch of things I already have/don't want is kinda lame

I left closers because their insistence to release a fuckton of "special deal packs" with the game being not even 2 months old makes it clear exactly where they want to go with the game. These fuckers here are starting and the game isn't even actually out yet.

how can this be a better way then selling that separate? i would probly buy that outfit right away but i dont want the rest, i do hope they look into things like this and sell the things we want instead of packing it into a box of crap

this is similar to the VIP ( just want the STATUS not the rest ), why make a pack of it? more would probly buy the things they want if not 90% of the pack was something they dont want.

been trying to help them, becouse they seemed like a nice team, at start wasnt that horrible even with the prices ( for me ) but these "packs" are starting to put me off, i do hope they stop this before everything is in packs for $50. starting to think everyones horror regarding gameforge starting to show up, still like the game but i do hope the packs stops and no rng boxes in the future please -.-
I mentioned this in the other thread, but you can get this costume by buying it off other players. Just save up a ton of gold, wait for prices to stabilize, and buy it without spending a penny on Soulcash. The best hairs are 1800 Soulcash and some are already only around 7 mil for Haru.
The thing about situations like this is that there are definitely people who are okay with this price and will buy the box. People who were ready to spend $30 on confectionary costume and $20 on VIP will have absolutely no issues with dropping money for this pack. Gameforge will set these prices and sell these packages because people will buy them.
This is also not exclusive to Gameforge; Closers had their collectors bundle set at a whopping 79.99 when all people REALLY wanted was the devil costumes that were exclusive to them. And people STILL ate it up.
I won't comment too much on whether its smart business practice to make $50 off 3 people instead of $20 off 8 people since I don't know the sales figures that they're seeing.
But I will state that while its annoying to have cute costumes locked behind packages, its marketing 101 and not at all uncommon to see. Just accept it and decide if you're saving up to afford this package, whether its Soulcash or dollars.

To be honest i dont care if we can get them later with ingame money, if i want that outfit i will buy it, but first the vip packs instead of the status only, and now this €50 outfit pack with added items, if i could buy them "stand alone" i would. ty for atleast giving me a ray of hope. but im more afraid of what next pack and the pack after that will be

I find it funny they have time to release all these cash shop items but can't address the community formally. Once again making this potentially awesome game feel like a cash grab.

you dont get it do you? its not about they force you to pay for shop items, its that they bundle items they know people want with useless items ( to increase the price ), if they did this with normal day-to-day items i dont think anyone would accept it but in games we should?
no one wanna pay 80% ( just an example ) more to buy what they want.
on VIP we want the status, not the rest. and if we wanted the rest we would put that in our shoping bag
this 50€ pack we want the costume not the VIP or boost pills, becouse if we wanted that we would have put that in our shoping bag
and if they had made packs that we actuly saved soulcash buying i dont think anyone would feel this "forceing"

I do wish they would address us more, but at the same time I can understand why developers outside the community division don't really feel obligated to, even if it does feel a bit more like we could be getting ignored even if they are listening.
The people who know and can enact change are different from the people who get paid to interact with the community. As such, this kind of disconnect is the result without any motivation to do wrong.
