I've been trying to use my Logitech gamepad to play but I cant get it to work on the directional button works when i go to settings.
Is anyone using a gamepad?

The gamepad settings kinda suck right now and are basically unusable. A lot of the buttons don't seem to map and the vertical speed is really high for like no reason
-
It's better to just not use gamepads atm they suck
-
Nope.
Broken gamepad support.
Mouse acceleration and camera skipping based on USB polling speed.
Vert- FoV.
Game's a technical mess and they should be ashamed for releasing it in this state.

they should fix this today ( or so they say ) but here is the way to fix it right now. hope its okay to link to the steam page

Edit: the path to the game will ofc be diffrent ( right click on your desktop icon and open path )
will point out that after you added that to the file ( the fix ) you need to reset options or start to re-map the keys from options. as the change was posted for a ps4 one at start but it will fix your issue if you cant map keys anyway

I tried, both on JP and here. I absolute prefer using a controller but let me tell you, don't do it. The main problem is, that this game uses the mouse and has no lock on function. I found it extremely hard to control the camera with the control stick, which is much easier to do with the mouse. It being glitched doesn't help either.
It one of those games again that hust slapped controller support in as an extra, because why not. You notice right away that it wasn't designed with controller support in mind.
Well I guess you can make something happen if you are really into it, but at this point to probably use a Joy to Key mapper anyway.

the game do have a lock-on function
and some do like to sit back and relax even if the game is both easier and better whiout it. -
Really it has? Well I did not notice... And it wasn't about being easier. I simply could not play it in a enjoyable way.
