+9 enhance rate.. what's wrong ?

  • I wonder if MMOs will ever move on from the archaic system of "1% success rate, if you fail you're shr3k'd m9". Tera used to have a system where if you fail enhance, you have better chance at success the next time. That would be optimal but most game developers are too hungry for money of desperate players to implement such system.

Aura Kingdom had something similar too. There is something called "potential", which has a 100 points limit and every time you fail enhancement you'll get a value based on your current upgrade level, so it'll take a maximum amount of attempts to get your item done.

Now, SW is not even clear about the enhancement chance. They should at least add a label showing it.

Eastern ones won't because they're full of P2W, regardless of being F2P or B2P wherever it's released.

Western ones don't have any of this.

Same thing in Kritika. You would get some fraction of additional enhancement rate for individual pieces of gear every time you fail and there's no penalty for failing, so you just keep trying until it works. I think the max enhance was +10 and it was really easy to get a full set of +10 gear even when playing casually (and it normally took much less than 50 tries to go from +9 to +10). The materials required for enhancing were pretty much worth peanuts too.

  • Welp, i used all my 25 upgrade attempts and can't even break past +5

I can't imagine how hard it is to +8 a weapon, i think i rather spend 100M+ for it rather than upgrade it myself, it's not worth the stress

Just unlucky, i did +7 in 13 try, btw it's waste of money upgrading this item more than +5

Btw for +7+8+9 you need also weapon chips xD and you can downgrade ur attempts by only the itemshop in game, they are untradeable:S

  • Hi there,

I just wanted to know if the Weapon +9 Upgrade hasn't been implemented yet. For me it seems so because I have tried to upgrade my Weapon to +9 already 68 times without success and for +7 and +8 I only needed in total 42 Tries. So it seems like +9 is maybe not avaible yet or the upgrade system is bugged because it should never ever take so many attempts and still no upgrade. If it's true, then I would like to get those spent Weapon Chips and Aether and Protections Stuff back or implement the +9 upgrade. And if it is already in the game then I really want to know just how low You set the % to Upgrade it to +9 in order to make the Players spent money on protection item to try upgrading it. Thx...
