The community, basically. I was debating playing on the Japanese server too but for several reasons opted against it for the moment. I will only switch if my current playmates also do.

Because it's the version that's unfortunately available for most of us where we don't have to separate heaven and earth to actually play.
If you're only here to ask why people are playing this instead of the "better versions", then just go and play those "better versions" and stay there.

I play here because it's the first place i heard about the game, i didn't know anything about the game until about a month ago.
Also the community is pretty good here except for a few salmons
I played in jp before, while waiting western release and it's obvious for better connection (still like jp more)
I'd love to play JP version. I love Haru's Voice Actor, since as a full-blooded Otaku, I worship Ai Kayano already, but the High Ping is actually causing my Game to crash every 3 Minutes. I could barely finish the tutorial.
Japan will likely ban ppl from west soon aswell (korea already has as it requires the id)

you can FOR NOW. Once open beta is finished the "launch of other services" rule applies in the contracts. While we cant see the contract ourselves, its likely japan has the same than gameforge for their region. It is likely they will have to block and ban others after official launch. Korea demanded the autoban of all koreans in japan and europe/na, europe will demand the same likely.
yeah you still can bypass the blocks on all servers, yet this does not guarantee you arent blocked one time at random.

If you have confidence in your service then why would you be worried? I can go to the Blade and Soul forums right now and make a post about Soul Worker and the mods wont bat an eye.

I agree but thats not what the mod said. They said "discussions" about private servers. They should be more specific on why they dont want this behavior. But hey at least we know what to talk about if we want their attention (private servers, Cashshop and serverdown) lol
