  • how is Daeleska selling pvp gear 'an issue' , it's just a thing that come with the pvp update.

And for revamped raid for new player, it's kinda intended to make the content harder, if we don't get it now we'll get it later, but when we're going to be done with primal, so basically they'll be irrelevant by then and just be a pain for new players of a new era. Might want to make them a pain in the ass while they're still relevant.

  • Or alternatively, they can make it not be a pain in the ass for anyone.

Making it a pain in the ass later when it's irrelevant doesn't harm anyone cause its irrelevant anyways. Players can just buy better gear from the marketplace by then and farm those dungeons if they still wish to.

Making it a pain the ass now when it's relevant harms players for the very reason that it's still relevant.

Basically, it comes down to selfishness. Those who are already geared are not affected by this change and welcomes the challenge with open arms. It might even make them richer cause now they can farm things that others cannot. So long as they benefit from it, who cares about others? Just keeping it real here.

  • raids should be a pain in the ass though, thats what a raid is. before the revamp you could basically facetank and one shot everything, as brainless as farming dungeons. There's actually no point to revamp it when it's irrelevant since it doesn't affect ppl, there's no point in making raids harder if nobody runs it, it's meant to be a pain in the ass for people and actually put some challenge in raids. Even if I didnt have gears I'd want this, there is no satisfaction to clearing a raid in the state they were, there still is none as the raids are still easy, they only raised the bar by a little bit. It's not like you gear from the raid anyway unless you have no idea what you're doing.

  • I would love to see someone face tank it this game on manic like difficultly. And I don't mean taking some hits to increase DPS, I mean not bothering to dodge at all. This statement isn't just limited to raids.

cause you're meant to dodge, though even if you miss some dodges, the game is extremely forgiving in its state before raid revamps, there's a problem when you can practically watch anime while raiding with no problems. With the revamps you have to actually stay focused to avoid dying.

  • They're suppose to be newbie raids. That's how the game was designed and deployed. You're just happy because it doesn't affect you. Like I said, it just comes down to selfishness.

  • I said "manic like difficultly", or in other words things hit hard. I also said "This statement isn't just limited to raids."

If you can survive the raids with a +4 50~55 set with suboptimal IDs and clear it in a decent amount of time everything is fine.

  • They made the raids harder? Well, I can't solo it anymore. The problem with raids right now is that there are no people to play them with unless you have your own team. Hard to find one because there are no players...

  • Do you really I don't grind those raids?Do you really think I don't get close to death with the revamped versions? It does affect me as well. I actually die in LC with the revamp even with proper gears. Right now you're just being the typical casual whining that everything is too hard when it's actually at a normal difficulty instead of being served on a plat. Now people will have to get geared if they want to raid, which should always have been a thing, and you don't need to grind raids to get geared, so you're basically complaining that you can't raid without gears cause now raiding require gears if you don't want to die. So I'm selfish cause I actually geared? I didn't get any benefit having easier raid version since I didn't gear from there in the first place, I actually geared before getting into raids even without the revamp. The fact you can't clear raids right now only means you should do the same instead of trying to leech runs/maybe drop the % extra exp gears.

Pre-revamp: 'Content is too easy no point to get better gears'

Post-revamp: "Content is too hard, I don't wanna gear up nerf please"

    lol.

  • Like I said, they're suppose to be newbie raids. That's how the game was originally designed and deployed. And that's how you geared up.

The revamp took place when the raids were no longer relevant in the other servers and when higher gear were around. So it didn't harm players much since they can always get better gear from other sources to do the re-vamped raids.

On our server, the raids are still relevant. Those who are not already geared up when those raids were easy are the ones affected.

  • I stopped bothering reading at 'thats how you gear up'

The fact that you think so is the reason why its 'too hard' for you

  • I didn't claim it was too hard for me. I'm just saying that your reason for cheering for the re-vamped difficulty is based on selfishness.

  • Let me make it clear for you since you seems to be the last player in the game who dont know about it but you don't gear up in raids, raids gears are trash, they're only used to craft aurith, the gears you use to clear content are the blueprints gear dropped in ark ship/acheron/deep core/forgotten armory ep4 manics and the ark ship accessory set. The only thing you get from raids are cubes giving energy converters(considering how OP/valuable this item is it's normal that you should gear up to grind it, you don't really need it if you don't have gears anyway) and fragments for soulstones(which shouldnt be priorized until you got decent gears)

  • Right so you grind for those resources to gear up. Resources equal money. Money equals gearing up. And you got those resources when it was easy.

Basically, it comes down to selfishness. Those who are already geared are not affected by this change and welcomes the challenge. It might even make them richer cause now they can farm things that others cannot. So long as they benefit from it, who cares about others? (And by they, I mean you.)

(Yeah, it's easier to copy and paste.)

  • So you're basically saying an ungeared player should clear content as efficiently/ get as much money as an endgame geared player? how delusional can you be? you're the one who sound selfish to me(since you keep throwing that around I might use it as well) If the items dropped in the raids would have been required to your gearing up phase I would have agreed but they're not. If you can't afford to buy gears, you grind them yourself , 'oh you're so selfish you didnt have that problem since you could raid' um yes I did? I actually grinded every ruin fortress dungeons for about 2 week to get blueprints/craft decent gears/get accessories before doing my 1st raid. You're basically whining cause you want to skip that phase to go straight to raiding using it as a shorcut to buy the gears that some spent week grinding.
