NINJA PATCH NOTES - Unofficial listing of hidden changes (merged topics)

  • No I'm saying that the only reason you're cheering the change is because you already geared up when things were easy. How many times do I have to explain this to you, lol.

  • reread the edited posts

  • Now reread mine.

  • If you actually bothered reading anything i said since the start of this discussion, the fact I'm geared or not has nothing with it, considering raids dont affect your gear progression, unless you're just trying to skipping the gear grind and at that point you'Re just crying cause you can't skip gear progression

  • So you're basically saying an ungeared player should clear content as efficiently/ get as much money as an endgame geared player? how delusional can you be? you're the one who sound selfish to me(since you keep throwing that around I might use it as well)

I'm not crying about anything. I didn't ask anyone to either keep or remove the new difficulty.

I'm just saying your crazy argument about how the revamped difficulty should be a pain in the ass (your own words) that we should experience now rather than later is because you are already geared. You already benefitted from the easy raids where you can get easy resources which means easy money which means easy gearing up. So when you're already geared up, the revamped difficulty doesn't affect you like it does others who are just reaching 55.

So it just comes down to selfishness. If it doesn't affect you, so who cares about others? Especially when you now benefit from being able to farm a "newbie" raid that others cannot so you can make more money from it, lol.

  • The “difficulty” is fine as it is now, but, as someone said, the drop got nerfed. If it’s an intended change from LionGames it’d be appreciated to fix the drop as it should be. If it isn’t intended then just revert the raids.

There’s nothing to blame GF about, regarding this problem only. All the other bugs should be fixed as soon as possible

  • LOL, im done, the copy pasting is too real for me

agree with that, should fix the drops and maybe balance them since most raids take the same amount of time now.

also worried about the amount of cubes dropped, feels like they nerfed that as well

  • Interestingly enough, that last post I made did NOT have much copy and paste, lol.

  • during the entire discussion your arguments were entirely copy pasting, when it actually has nothing to do with the topic

    'youre geared you're selfish'

    'youre geared you're selfish'

  • Umm, no, this is what I'm saying (this is copy and paste) ...

  • LMAO YOU BASICALLY JUST COPY PASTED YOUR LAST POST AGAIN

anyway I'm off to sleep so hf arguing with myself, also, blocked, tired of getting notifications from you

  • That's right, I actually said it was copy and paste. Because that was the point I was making that you kept trying to pretend not to understand. :)

  • I would just ask why it has to be "hard" and why do you have to be "actually geared". Does it make the game more fun? I don't think so. Most people probably want to jump right into the raids once they are 55, so whatever they got until then should be sufficient. Actually calling them raids is odd, I would prefer bonus or extra stages.

The game basically is for casual players. There is nothing wrong about it. On the other hand this thirst for fake difficulty is extremly harmful. You shouldn't die in a game unless you really mess up big. Getting punished is fine, but death needs to be carefully added and SW is not one of the games were death is part of the core game design. Overall the goal is that a player beats a game and enjoys it.

  • You are missing the point and some stuff you don't know about the game. First the game lacks "identity" if I had to ask you: "Is Soulworker a hard game?" what would you say? yes or no? most would probably say that it's not hard in our version but on Kr with the new content coming it is a hard game. And this is where the problems starts. The game originally was easy as fuc and it was basically an anime simulator, nothing more, in fact, the game was dying as everyone in Kr was lvl 55 and had nothing to do as the game was just too easy and there was little content then what happened? players from closers and kritika started playing Soulworker when those 2 games failed and a lot of new players made the developers of Soul wake the f___ up and they started adding a lot more content and harder to the game such as raids revamped and the new upcoming content where u cant use active aksha cards and a harder dung because of mechanics and not gear. So my guess is that the game will be harder from now as it's what a lot of players want, a challenge. Everyone gets tired of super easy videogames, if there's no challenge no1 cares after a while... Also the nr1 played MMO game in Korea at PcBang or PcCafe whatever is called, was Blade and Soul a pretty challenging MMO game that is way harder than soulworker, so again it confirms my thoughts that the game will be harder in the years to come.

    also:

EHM Dark Souls saga is one of the most played games of our time and you die all the time in there, both from normal monsters and bosses and when you die you lose all your souls and if you die twice you have no way of getting them back, are you sure people just want games for casuals? a challenge is what makes videogames and sports fun, if not it's the story and there's offline games if you want a story

  • Yeah my bad I forgot to press enter, it suppose to be not part of the list. (common sense) :whistling:
The revamp for raids is a big problem for new players, since most parts of the end game gears costs like 10m each as for (EN) aside from Erwin's, and most of the new level 55s will only reach around 20m or less, No one runs non elemental raids nowadays so they will have a bad time getting a group, unless someone will help them like their guildmates, friends or you?
They already mentioned that "it's not intended" and they don't know that it was included to the patch.

    Anyways back to the topic.

    Other issues found :

Daily quest for elemental raids are not working properly. (those green ones)
Golem Akasha doesn't work if you use it immediately around 5-10s after entering raids. (tried it in Bandit's Highway 4x and confirmed idk if it's only me so you better try it yourself to confirm):/
The BGM and sound effects still breaks, I thought they already fixed it since yesterday I didn't experience it whole day.
The Die-phoon skill of Lily homing version is fine, the spread one only is bugged (no animation but it does damage)
Random game crash when opening Grutin Boxes.

  • Yeah, I know the Dark Souls argument is coming. In that game you...

    • Don't die from one mistake
    • Have healing available that can easily heal 50+ HP and requires timing instead of having a cooldown
    • Have a built in challenge to reclaim your souls
    • Do not run a dungeon multiple times
    • Respawn at checkpoints only costing you your souls

Even Dark Souls has flaws however. If it takes to long to get to a boss form a checkpoint it becomes frustrating. By the way Super Meat Boy also deals nicely with death. That's what I mean with death being part of the game design.

Here you just get kicked out of the dungeon. Even if you manage to clear it the game is just like: "Great you did it, now do it: 2,147,483,647 times again". If it wouldn't be for the grind or at least had high rewards a high chance of death is okay. However a some of your 2,147,483,647 runs ends with death because you had to sneeze, it gets frustrating.

Is it understandable, what i am trying to say?

  • I would love to see someone face tank it this game on manic like difficultly. And I don't mean taking some hits to increase DPS, I mean not bothering to dodge at all. This statement isn't just limited to raids.

i cant speak for raids but as a lvl 54 hell actually before then I have soled every ep 4 manic and i only have +4 gear and a +6 weapon. If your hp regen is good and there are plenty mobs or a boss that spawns alot of adds ohh god yea very easy to do lol if your getting back nearly 2k hp per kill yep face tanking XD. Not to mention a skill that heals for 30% hp+ (dont remember the exact amount) every 15 sec everytime you hit something.

Maybe it just depends on the class not sure. I'm still new but i love my Lilly *_*. and i suck very badly at dodging XD. Honestly when in comparison to Tera dodging in this game is ehhhh not to good really. But it's okay. I just like playing this game XD. Soloing instances in Tera that are endgame is damn near impossible even with the best of gear. So i like the aspect that you can fail, learn, fail, learn some more. Then master it A rank, S rank and then "omg im not a noob anymore" S+ XD.

As my friend calls me im a manic, manic XD.

  • The word used was face tanking. That means you are not dodging at all. If it is doable or not was never the question. Obviously it is, what kind of crappy game this would be otherwise. However, can you do it without paying attention or timing at all? The complain was, that you don't have to pay attention and can still easily beat everything.
