Weekend Events [poll]

  • If you could choose one of the following for a weekend event, which would you choose? 100

    I'm curious what the community would vote.

  • I didn't vote because in my opinion, none of these are better than just having 50% energy reduction (this isn't the same as having double energy), except maybe 50% more boss drops. Maybe I would like enhancement events when we get Golden Citadel back.


    Double daily energy -> worse than 50% energy reduction.


    150% monster experience -> encourages people to die at boss even more and ignore the repeatable quests (some of them are worth it normally).


    200% quest experience -> maybe.


    25% more dzenai from drops -> seems underwhelming.


    50% more boss drops -> maybe.


    Mats -> encourages people to buy mats from the shop.


    Grutin coin on dungeon clear -> why? it would have to be a lot more than 5 to be any good.


    Enhancement events -> not really useful without Aurite/Primal gear and favour system, unless people enjoy wasting resources on subpar gear.

    I mean, 3 EP from a mat isn't really much of an event, haha. Also, I had like 10 of them in my inventory and didn't pick up the freebies for a few days! I haven't even been using them, just placing them for fun and memes

  • Alzii Not only that, but I meant that more of a bad thing or a "but why?" implication. An event like that would just be seen as another small cash grab, even if people have a lot of free ones saved up. Events should also be encouraging people to play the game more, not sit on mats.

  • Honestly, none of those suggested events seem appealing


    I want to see a in-game event in which you can farm event mat to craft an event costume acquired for completing a dungeon ( a chest that pops at the end of the run)

  • I agree one of those suggested events seem appealing or just outright unrealistic. I especially see no point in EXP events for those who are capped.


    I would just make the 50% energy reduction on weekends a permanent thing. I guess doubling energy is the same, so go for that.

    energy is not an event it's a system that must rebuild/rewrite

    making a new instance for event with new boss and no energy required (hard boss that would really need a team to fight it [i did all the instances in the game solo easy but not fun])

    the boss drop items and the monsters drop items

    let's say the boss drop blueprints

    and the monsters drop items to craft the blueprints

    gather things from it and craft Fashion/foods/buffs or other things that would move the game


    this i would call it an event

    i am sure they can do even more and have more ideas too :|

    50% energy reduction on weekends a permanent thing? Then having double the EP from VIP, so buying the VIP would be pointless and no one would buy it because of that. And -50% EP on all weekends would be just too much.. everyone would just easily have all the achievements in a few weeks months and that's really too fast. If they bring this -50% EP on 1 or max 2 weekends per month would be okey even once per month would already be enough and double VIP would makes more sense


    The only weekend event I would like is "50% more loot drops from boss kills", especially when Golden citadel and Primal is out. but again.. every single weekend a 50% higher chance of boss drops is also kinda stupid. The majority would not play those important raids anymore in the week and only wait for the weekend event

    Also who cares who has want title? If you want to grind, then grind. If not the... not. People normally have more time on weekends for games so it kinda fits. Especially considering that the Fatigue System is generally not something the community likes

    Maybe you don't mind if VIP is pointless, but not Gameforge! They brought it, because they want to make money with that as well. And just because "it fits" cause people play more on the weekends make still no sense to bring this -50% EP weekend permament. They would lose money! An event should be an Event and should not become to a standard.


    Oh and btw. there are endgame titles you need because of their effects ;) And what I meant with the achievements (which can and should take a awhile to get) are those strong endgame titles and cosmetics which also should be something more special. With a permantant -50%EP Weekend everyone would run around with those strong/"op" (in our current content) titles in already 1month

  • Some great feedback from the people who posted and thanks to all whom voted so far. I tried to think of ideas that would be possible from a business standpoint, you know they tend to be a bit stingy heh.


    These were ideas based off how they are running their 50% energy reduction 'events' over a short period of time (weekend). I would personally love events that some others have suggested sader1992 & Koumaru but these types of events are better for longer periods of time, like say a one or two week period. That would give everyone a chance to farm for outfits who actually can't play much on weekends.


    The 50% more boss drops option is a big hit (I even voted that) maybe because the other options are not that great compared to it or people just want to see more dungeons fully completed because that is one of the issues with this game currently. As for the other options like grutin coins, i put a lot of thought into a number that wouldn't be too big because people would be farming the coins on the lowest EP dungeons of course and completing them in 30 seconds, so it can add up quickly. I agree with scare that the events should not be repeating every weekend and they could switch it up to make it more exciting/involved. Alzii regarding why I didn't put an option for plain old double XP, I just wanted to see what people would like more between the two options I posted, double XP is awesome and everyone likes that :thumbup:.

    It has more uses than just EP :whistling: a lot of people want it for that drop rate in attribute raids now
