FOV is too low, I cannot play the game.

  • If i have this game fullscreen and minimize it i get DC from server after around 3 min idle, so im forced to play windowed borderless which forces me to 16:9 on 16:10 monitor...

    How can I manually adjust the screen resolution?
    Keep in mind that according to our T&C, modifications of the client are not allowed. This issue is already reported to our team and we are working on the fix as soon as possible.(This solution is an exception in order to fix the screen resolution issue until we apply a fix for it directly in the client.)

    How to change it directly in your game folder:

    Right click on your SW shortcut and then select "Open file location".
    Open your "Client" folder
    Open the file "General.ini"

    Here you have the possibility to adjust your screen mode like this:

    SCREENMODE=0 for window mode
    SCREENMODE=1 for fullscreen window mode
    SCREENMODE=2 for fullscreen mode.

    Once you play in full screen go to the folder written in this quote above and change the screenmode to 1 or change the resolution manually

  • As many people already said - you'll get used to it. It's the only real option you have. I got used to this FOV. Not to mention - different FOVs on different people leads to unfair advantages. I personally am glad there's a unified thing here.

    You have no right to speak on FoV as you clearly don't understand it whatsoever.

    Do yourself, and everyone else, a favor by educating yourself on what field of view is and how it affects the human brain.

    The one that has no idea what he's talking about seems to be you. Yes, you do get used to it. Only unwillingness to do so results in not being able to. It's your own mentality that keeps you from being able to adapt.

    I do not wish to rely on bogus information, thank you very much.

  • its not about getting used it and saying....u know what fck this lets get used to it...some people dont like it ...me personally have no such thing as the FOV getting sick and stuff...but the character is so god damn close to my screen making combos not to mention in small places its unbearable ...if u get used it ..doesnt mean everyone should or can .

    Ignoring all the rudeness of the other dude, this is not a matter of getting used to.

    I play on 1280x800 resolution and 1/3 of my screen is covered by my character and UI (no option to adjust UI size is annoying too, you can only change size of windows), without zooming out i cant fight some enemies as i just cant see their attacks.

    Well, it's not like I don't agree, you know. Just because I got used to the FOV doesn't mean I like it. It's just... there's no other way but to get used to it at the moment, unless you don't wanna play anymore. I too don't like cluttered screens and camera being stuck very close to the character. I said it creates unfair advantages and I still think it does IF only a limited number of people have it, but if there is ever a slider it's everyone's own choice to set it up all the way so that's that. No worries, I still do get your issue with it, but as it stands getting used to it is the only option. And thank you for not being a walking bag of rudeness like someone else btw ;)

  • SJW to the rescue good job dude shes all yours..go in for the finisher ...just dont forget to tip your fedora

    Nah, its not about SJW (we dont have this shit in my country).

    I just said pretty much the same thing you did... without... using... all... these... dots... and maintaining basic manners, try that sometimes, you will be amazed at results.

    Also, THIS IS THE INTERNET, THERE ARE NO WOMEN HERE.
