Anyone else just concerned?

    What are their planes on game updates. How often this will be. How bug update will be.

    When will we catch the korean version. And will we

    I say give them at least until April 1st or a week into April, and then complain if the situation is still the same. Like I mentioned before, we're just barely approaching the one-month milestone. It hasn't even been 30 days yet. I doubt we will actually catch up to KR since this is rarely ever the case in a relationship where the developer is not also the publisher.

    I think you and alot of other people are missing our point. I going to say it a simply as I can. We want GF to make an official announcement about the game, issues players are having and their plans for the game. That's it. This is a beta and at the very least you should have a community manager for that. Especially in a beta where they are expecting people to spend money already.

    This is the exact point I addressed in my huge wall of text earlier, which I don't blame you for not reading. Basically, I said the community managers can't tell us anything if GameForge hasn't given them anything to say, and GameForge can't give them anything to say if Lion Games doesn't give them anything to say. For all we know, Lion Games could have just released this game with little to no planning and might not have even finished planning the content schedule yet. That's assuming they even started planning at all. Like I said in my previous post, give them at least another week or two. It would be nice to at least have some kind of ongoing event though, even if the rewards suck.

  • In regards to concerns about the cash shop costumes being added despite little apparent developmental progress, it's worth remembering that the people who are porting over costumes most likely aren't the same people who would be fixing bugs in the code or implementing game features.

  • Oof this thread has some gross stuff just from the first page. In regards to your concerns, if you wanna put time into this game for enjoyment sake then go for it. There's legitimate complaints but honestly none of them are enough to stop anyone playing the game (except for ip blocked regions). Spending money well that's up to you and I while I don't think much from the cash shop is worth the price-tag at the moment there are plenty who do. Just play the game tbh, I'm not gonna say 'it's beta' because there's practically no difference between 'beta' and 'full release' now days. But it is early days. Like very early days. We can't completely judge the outcome after 1-2 months.

    -Says you don't want to be directly addressed then proceeds to say you want to be directly addressed. They've been doing that. Which is why I said that. Maybe you're not actually taking the time to look around and you're just complaining at every second.

When 95% of your posts consists of nothing but complaints, I can't help but wonder if you have some personal beef with Gameforge and are unable to see clearly which leads to your non-stop ranting or if you have some type of mental issue.

  • I have a piece of two cent I would like to share.


    Games in general have flaws, and that's a fact. The majority of the complaints that are masked as concerns are valid, and it is understandably a frustrating time for both players and company to face lack of content in the standing, mostly because of the lag time between publishers and developers.


    What I don't get, however, is how a lot of players got themselves into a never-ending loop of repetitive arguments by beating down a dead horse over and over. When the English localization of SoulWorker has only been out for barely a month now with the expectations of bugs and server instability in early stages.


    I mean, technically speaking the marketing side could've been a lot better from Gameforge's part early on when SoulWorker NA/EU were around in Closed Beta, but they might get held back by the developer for unknown reasons we might end up never knowing about, and certainly the officials won't be able to tell us outright since it is considered internal information.


    Most importantly above all else, this game will be treated as a beta phase until we receive official statements from Gameforge for a live release date. Nitpick all you like, but you won't be able to get far with further answers other than: "I'm sorry, we can't confirm on x and y at this time. Thank you for your patience."

  • I honestly couldn't care less about your insults. I pointed that out because it's not necessary. Back to the point, I have complained alot but I believe it's for a good reason. I'm not asking for content, nor am I asking for direct affirmation. I would like GF just to say "Hey guys we have heard your concerns on these issues and here is what we can change or here is what we can't change" I don't really think that's asking too much honestly.

    -Then address the substance and stop playing the victim card. I talked about P2W, lack of content updates, item mall updates over shadowing content updates, etc. All you've said is stop bullying me. If you have good reason explain it. Don't waste my time responding to something I said without further addressing your point. That isn't doing proving anything on your side in the long run.

    -They have and I'll give a direct example. People earlier were complaining about this game having stamina and to address that they made a post paraphrased as "We've heard your feedback and for the time being we will keep stamina pots and mats free in the item mall until further notice." So, to say that they're not doing that means you're not actually looking around. Want me to list more? I can. Provide evidence of your claim or you're just full of shit. And you're proving my point of you just ranting nonsensically.

    -It is when they actually do that and you non-stop say the exact same thing that they aren't. Despite there being actual proof that says otherwise.

    -Honestly, I think that at the end of the day what'll lead to this server being shutdown is people like you. People that complain constantly without any real substance where the only post of meaning is "they're ignoring the community they just want to take the money from your wallet instead.". That in turns makes people doubtful when they see nothing but that like the OP here. There might be a legitimate reason in where theyr'e screwing up. But, you fail to address any of it in the 84 something posts you liter throughout the forum like a plague. Yet you want people to take you seriously to the point you directly address people's opinions like they're wrong without providing any evidence of why you feel that way.

    Thank you for responding. Since you are commenting, can you give us a brief view of the issues or concerns you guys are looking into.     Nice to see the announcement is "we're still discussing things, nothing is changing" along with the game's "commercial release" done right out of the blue.


    Are we concerned? That's not even the question anymore.
