Tips on Argus Caster [Manic]

    He beats my ass, and then "beat" it again.

    Haru here, auto-teams i was in got just wiped, solo i get wiped. In my best run we got him to 9x HP (and then i got 100 to 0 by some fancy ass laser beam from behind, WTF).

    Any tips? (aside of "git gud" or lvl up and beat him later)

    Are there any specific parts you don't understand or struggle with?


    If you pay attention to when he glows blue and holds his staff above his head then he will prepare his "2-shot" or one-shot if you don't have good gear.

    Try and remain mid-range from him. He likes to use projectile attacks towards the direction he's facing, so its best to stay close enough to strafe around him and attack during openings. However, he likes to use his tornado that persists forever, and usually stands in it while he tries to shoot you down, so you can't hug his butt forever.


    Apart from that, I dont really recollect anything out of the ordinary that made the fight particularly difficult. It would help if you can point out what specific parts you're having difficulties with (apart from the giant laser).

    I struggled mostly with artillery fire and his tornado of personal space, in the end i just joined a guild and while these 2 things are still annoying, my teammates can take some aggro from me (compared to auto-team where everyone either died or stayed at safe distance and battle dragged on and on until a wipe).

    Other than that i dont see why ive struggled so much.

    I have only done him on Stella and she can kite.

    He has a attack where he creates something like a blue crack. He should be punishable after it. Make sure you get away in time. For the artillery fire just run around until all three are fired, you have an opening after then.


    Basically you have to find a window where he has an opening and those three other bosses don't shot at you. It's much easier if you can attack from afar. In fact it trivialise the boss. All I can say is keep trying and look for that opening you can abuse. Maybe you can find a hit and run tactic for him.

    Oh yeah, that might be it too since i did it with 2 Erwins, while i and other Haru were jumping around the boss they propably did the most actual damage (didnt have time to pay them too much attention).
