Hello Forums,
I admit, this is my first real foray into forums since...oh gosh I suppose it was a decade ago. Regardless, it's certainly been an interesting trip so far.
I'm the other half of the Tenebris Twins, though I wasn't always that way. I was urged to play the game by my Fortnite squad, and stuck around because of the lack of gachaphon locked fashion currently in the game. Sadly they moved on to a different MMO, (I think it was Closers and/or Aura Kingdom?) I soloed my way through into Grace City but was pretty close to burning out. About this time the Sweet Confectioner outfit came out so I started running around giving people chocolates to keep myself in the game.
I met another much more serious whale guild (yes I'm a whale for fashion) that invited me, though they all quit the game, but let's not focus on that. Then I met Alzii in Grace City, just standing around procrastinating about leveling. The rest is sort of history. I twinned her, we can't stop twinning, and we're about to finish leveling soon, so yay!
More about me, hrm. I worked for Nexon a long time ago, probably over a decade now on the games Mabinogi, the launch of Vindictus, and the initial launch of DFO that was then taken down after a short while. I put a lot of money into Mabinogi/Vindictus, however I ended up quitting it and the company due to some trauma induced by an event that happened to someone close to me. I've never really looked back at the games. Other games I've played and put a lot of money into were Elsword and recently Twin Sagas. When the game launched I put a -lot- of money into it to buy cooking mats so I could get the server first "#1 Chef" title. Hilariously I quit the game after getting it.
I enjoyed other games like Blade and Soul and Tera Online, but I find that I have a curse of never really having anyone to play the games with. So I'm hoping this time that changes!
As far as other games I like to play, I enjoy Fortnite with friends, and really any multiplayer game I can play cooperatively with people. I'm not really much of a competitive person anymore.
Outside of the keyboard room, I'm certified in the Pharmaceutical area and work in marketing. I enjoy tabletop gaming, though I've only ever played it with my current Starfinder campaign. I also volunteer for a local convention that I'm a huge support of the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. If you're in the area you should check it out!
Alright, later kids, and feel free to stop by and say hi to the twins~
