Lack Of End Game Content Currently In Soulworker

  • *release of any content ever in any mmo*

Ah, I'm so tired of grinding this piece of content.

In every mmo ever, there's always these types of people. I see it Dragon Nest, FFXIV, WoW, Closers, and a few more. People rush through content, then move on to the next mmo to satiate their never ending thirst for content.

Though, in SoulWorker, I do feel like it's a lot worse. Only Golden Citadel and Primal up until Jin Advancement when Altar of Void releases? Idk about you, but that's rough.
I get that they are focusing on Advancements to get them out as fast as possible for an equal playing field, but therein lies the issue of players not playing said classes and therefore lacking said content.
I just hope they go on a massive pve content spree and maybe a nice pvp revamp after this is all over.

  • I am personally used to getting one content update per year and maybe one additional charter or and advancement for ll of them. So how bad is SW compared to that? Maybe they are "just starting".

From some videos it seems Golden Citadel drops more then just things for the set itself, but that has to be verified once it's out. Would make farming much more fun. Those things are really just about the reward / effort ratio for me personally.

  • True end game goal is to +9 all weapons and armors and afk at Grace City.

only real pros afk in rucco channel 1

    it builds character

By building character, do you mean being able to read chat and effectively communicate with others through the flooding chat spams of bots?

How did you see through my clever ruse?

  • Because we are all victims of the infectious disease of the bots. ?_?

  • Content creation is 20 times slower than content consumption. I mean, how fast does it take to binge on a manga and get caught up? Versus how long it takes to draw the pages? Maybe video games are similar.

They are still making content, just not the kind of content they're thinking of. Right now advancements are their priority more than anything.

  • In any case, there are games that have so much end-game content that you never get tired cause of too much diversity? I would like to know them because I like to reach the end-game, get good/the best gears and clear it several times (with several chars if possible) while looking fabulous then wait until the next release of content and repeat. There have always been a limit, I can't properly compare SW with any game I have played because it is just an open beta, however when I see the content that's coming I can get an idea on how it will end this for me. Fortunately this game seems to have good fashion potential (true end-game) so I could aim for that as well but seriously, I would like to know a game where I would have more than the end-game content that I could ask for.

  • Usually in Korean "MMORPG"s like this, they put the best "current endgame" gear behind a fatigue-limited or time-limited grind that takes months to finish, so that players have a reason to keep logging in to do their daily routine and to give developers sufficient time to create new content. They also throw in random and seasonal events during the grind to try to keep things interesting. In this case, we don't have such a grind since the rookie raid line of gear (both weapons and armor) is simply garbage and underwhelming compared to the Vicarious set, which is also much faster to obtain in comparison. The "events" we've had so far are also very lackluster. Golden Citadel would probably be close to this kind of grind since we have to keep running it daily to farm some kind of "memory fragment" to craft the weapon and armor, but I don't know how many fragments we would be able to obtain daily and whether they're a guaranteed drop every run. Even for Aurite gear, the number of fragments required doesn't seem like it would take very long to get anyways, and the gear itself still isn't particularly outstanding. The typical "Korean grind" in this type of game usually lasts at least a month or two of daily routines, and rewards epic/legendary-grade gear (like Primal) that is truly outstanding in comparison to everything else in the game, but obviously we don't have it right now and probably won't have it for quite a while.

  • End-game is awful in this game, you get max level in 5-7 days even when you dont play half day (i literally was afk 2 hours per 1 hour played)
Id like if this get more difficult to do but most people complains about that i dont know why, that wasnt that hard at all

shop is awful too, thats gfs fault anyway

  • Guys dont worry most costume content is on the way. Enjoy the easter event thats some quality content right there.

If this would soon become a contest of "How petty can you get", you'd be the winner by far.

Yeah, basically. You can't really get max level in 5 - 7 days unless you're a no life, tho. I don't think it needs to be more difficult, what I think is that we actually need golden citadel and primal out already. That's when we'd have something we can actually progress towards.

Just having a bit of fun. Why so serious?

  • Just having a bit of fun. Why so serious?

Because its essentially all you talk about, despite the efforts they're putting in. I'm sure we're all frustrated with the lack of announcements of content, or a roadmap for content, but they have at least announced multiple times that when OBT finishes, we'll start to hear things. They cant even give a date on that, provided they're being honest, since it'll be fixed when it's fixed and all.

It was more of a lash out, I guess. It's tiring basically seeing the same comment about the cash shop everywhere from the same guy. In some form or fashion, I'm sure you understand. At least we have the Easter event, though. Something to actually look forward to, be it the lack luster tickets (Still kind of a solution for people who fucked up their builds.) or the brooches, which is what I'm primarily looking forward to.

I keep doing it to keep it fresh on the brain. In all honesty it would be great to see this game turn it around and at the very least try to make it player friendly. I guess we will see what happens after op beta.

  • *Stares at my 400EP*

    Um...... '-'

Yea after the new content appear "some people" will start crying again about EnergyPoints, because they don't have enough to grind or finish the content, AND after finishing the content and just grind some stuffs: "We have full EP! What sould I do?", and start complaining again.

    LOGIC!

What people expect? EnergyPoint(EP) system to not be in the game???
