Free skill reset tickets - get it now during Easter Event!

  • All this work for something that doesnt even wipe all your skillz. Then you have to grind super hard to 5 days straight on all your characters. LOL wow just wow. #Soulcrusheronline

  • When I first created this thread, I thought it was GF's way of handling our concerns on skill resets. But the grind for resetting even just one skill is pretty harsh due to multiple levels per skill. And resetting multiple skills is simply impractical for most people. What they should have done was given a one-time purchase of a skill tree reset.

In BDO, people complained about similar things like having to pay to reset skills, especially when they're still learning the game. Kakao (their publisher) then got PA (their dev) to change it so that you can have unlimited skill changes until lvl 56 (which is pretty good considering the soft cap is lvl 61 right now).

I'm not saying GF needs to do the same, but I think giving people a means to correct their mistakes while they're still learning the game would be good and this was the perfect opportunity for doing so. Not too big a deal for me since I had already planned to buy it from the cash shop, but still ...

  • Can someone explain to me how this event works? Is it related to just doing daily quests or something special? I didn't see anything this morning before work when the event should have been live.

On the Daily Quest section (upper left or J->Daily Quest) there's a section called Event. Once you accept the quest you need to do 5 dungeons, no matter which or the difficulty. You'll receive the eggs in your HEMS

Thank you, I probably need to restart client then to see them.

  • Doing Steel Graves can complete the event quest. Also, I don't know how people could mess up on their skill tree.. :(

I only had a single skill point misused before i realized and stopped leveling a skill. So I already whaled and got my reset token. However the keys are tempting.

Because most people new to the game leveled skills they were using and there was much uncertainty as to what to go for the various characters. People level and realize that some of the choices weren't good and now they want to change that.

What's hard to understand about that.

I knew a comment like this would happen. I personally use guides so I don't ruin my skill tree in the future. It doesn't matter if you're new or not, reading the skills Is common sense. The game has been out for a few years now, there's tons of guides out there. :).

  • Really, common. I can't see how anyone could say such things. There are a massive amount of people learning the game as they go. After all we are human and make mistakes.

  • Not sure if you misread. I said reading the skills were common sense. You made it seem like I've said something Horrid. I know People make mistakes, I just questioned HOW some people messed up their skill tree, which Chyrssie explained how from her perspective. Have a good day. Lol

  • I'd like to clarify, I'm a firm believe of there is no right or wrong. I'm not a player that gives two shits about what the "accepted build" are, or what's most effective for raids or whatnot. Let people play how they want to play. I don't want that stigma of a wrong build being bred upon.

  • Also, given the fact that, there are plenty of options out there to help you guide your way through the game. Videos, Forums, Guides. When I started playing this game, I knew I would mess up on a skill tree, so I've read a few guides, which prevented me from needing skill resets.

When I mention guides, I mean informative paragraphs that explains how effective the skill is, and what the skill does. There are so many skill builds that are different , that I for one have made my own decision base on the calculations I've made * and how the skills work.

  • Because full and detailed guides were available from day one...

...and because everyone who plays the game checks forums, Steam, and whatever other unofficial sites that might have guides...

...and because these guides are all set in stone and are not just opinions from the guide writers mostly...

...and because people don't want to try out a bunch of different skills on new characters in a game they never played before to see how it is and just ignore what these opinionated guides say are bad.

Maybe it's the new gaming culture to need to know everything and have the game figured out and read through 20 spreadsheets on how to do anything before actually ever touching it.

  • I was wondering how people messed up on their skill tree besides being new, which was a given answer (I know) If you mindlessly follow one guide, you won't get anywhere unless you read other's people's opinion. Ultimately it's your decision in the end. I'm not forcing anyone to follow guides. Not my problem 🤔

My biggest problem is if they were going to charge you a ridiculous fee why not warn people? It's pretty crummy to charge real money for skill reset in the first place but to not warn people is shady.

yeah, That's why I decided to say fuck it and read through different guides because I didn't want to waste rl money just to change my skill tree. :/
