Official Discord

    +1 for official discord.


    As most others have mentioned, it isn't difficult to set up the server given with time and dedication to put everything together. It took me a day to get my guild discord ready with permissions and coming up with rules and what not; it's only a matter of moderation when dealing with multiple number of people 24/7.


    It isn't difficult to form moderators via posting an application thread based on server region and timezone. Not that hard to assign them for certain number of hours either by creating a spreadsheet to ease in coordination.

    As mentioned, we discussed this internally and we will open an official Discord channel soon (it will be ready for the commercial release, maybe also during the Open Beta phase). Setting the Discord channel is not complicated but we just need some time to coordinate teams (who will moderate, when, common rules, language, etc.).


    We will keep you in touch of course as soon as possible ;)

    I have a feeling this is going to be one of those demands that are made... and then the playerbase doesnt use it. I hope I am wrong after they do all this work for it.

    it wasn't like that before, its exactly because it's like that now that most don't bother coming in anymore

    I see some negative messages about Discord might becoming dead and such.. I want to say 1 thing about it and that is.. if you don't want something to become dead.. then you have to do something about it which does not include chatting

    negativeness cause that won't help a thing besides making other people annoyed.


    So for the people who are wanting it to be alive I would suggest you guys to actively chat. If you are for any reason not willing to do that then I suggest you to stop keep talking negative future stuff that might even not be true at all.

    Does someone maybe want to make a little temporary discord just for chilling and grouping up easier if it hasn't been done already? Just an idea.
