When am I going to get good rates on Soulcash?

  • So did someone actually try writing a ticket? You would at least get an explanation. No point in arguing if you haven't even tried.

I don't think there was a bug here, so the "error correction" argument may not work. Well, I guess you can try.

what that hell do you think? wait did you not read all the post and responses from those whom have submitted tickets? there here. In text. In english. no clue wtf you wrote that for >.>

  • Well the respond is we don't have any plan for refund or reimburse.

Pretty much saying ooh yeah we messed up big time, but it's alright they already paid. That's what the players get from coming in on beta phase and playing early to help us test and support our game. We just going to get profit off those players. Now we just need to increase soulcash for other new players, so we can get more players to paid.

People have already written tickets and were told that they do not have an answer yet and that they will let us know in the forums. People are basically giving feedback while they're still deciding (at least I was). If you actually read before replying, you would already know and not ask that question.

Also an error does not have to be a bug.

  • Of course I don't read every post. Who has the time for that? Assuming that is complete unrealistic. That was the whole reason I asked the question.

If they said no, then that means no. Feedback is fine, but if you want that changed just put in a suggestion: Suggestions

You can argue about this for month or just ask them to provide the service you want. Probably won't change what happened in the past but that's how life is.

LMAO. Most people actually read before replying. If you don't bother reading, then why bother replying? This is nothing but trolling.

And they didn't just say no, they said they don't have an answer for us yet and that they will let us know in the forums when they have an answer.

And why would we make a new thread when we already have a thread on the topic that the VP himself has read and has replied to? Do you ever think before you write?

There was very little argument here until you came along (aside from maybe Satan). People were mostly just giving their opinions and feedback on a topic that concerns them. YOU are the one who come here with your post to incite an argument. On a topic that doesn't even concern you since you're not from NA.

  • I hope something is done soon cuz friend of mine is a bit upset about the change. She wants a full refund now but that is definitely ain't happening since the oulcash was already spent, lol.

Refund isn't happening even if she hadn't spent anything. The best case scenario you can expect is to get the 30% soulcash credited to her account.

  • I don't really get what the confusion is about, but let me put it in perspective (reminder its just an example).

You see a nice dress and you're like: ya it looks good on me and u buy it for like 30 euros. A few months later, your friend says: oh ya that dress you got for 30 euro's, well I saw it in the same store and it was 20 euro's so got it too! So you are like: she got it cheaper, I want a refund of the extra 10 euro's i've spent on that dress.

    I mean... :haru4:

  • You see, the dress case and this soul cash case is kinda different. This soul cash case is more like you and your friend went to a store to buy saying a nice dress, and they need to check ur address or ur residency. You are American and your friend is European, then the cashier told your friend her dress is 20 dollars and yours is 30 dollars. That's what gameforge is doing, that's why it's messed up. If you put it in a bad term, you can say that it's kinda like discriminating between rich and poor people and get charge at different rate.

  • Your example applies to the hairstyle price change we had earlier, but doesn't really apply to the current soulcash change.

The current situation with NA pricing cannot be compared to the hairstyle pricing change we had previously.

In the case of the hairstyle pricing change, it was a case of setting an initial price and then reducing it later. This is no different from you buying something and then the store slashed it's price later.

However, in the case of the NA soulcash pricing change, it was acknowledged from the highest levels in the company (VP at Gameforge) that the price differences should be due to exchange rates, which is clearly not the case. The fact that after investigation, they are making adjustments to give us 30% extra soulcash means that there really was an error in their original pricing.

If you bought something from a store and they later reduced the price of the item, you don't expect them to return the difference unless that store had a price protection policy (which is not the case here).

However, if you bought something from a store and they gave you the wrong amount of items due to an error, then you do expect them to give you the correct amount after they verified that it was due to an error.

So in my opinion, Gameforge should let us write a ticket to get the missing 30% soulcash.

  • As i stated before....most american retailers offer 30 day returns. so....that dress she bough for 30 she could have said "ehh screw it dont want it" or gotten the 10 dollars back. (either as a store credit or as cash if its within the 30 days). Again as i said before not sure what the hell the rest of the world does. But this is NA....

  • i agree with most of what you said. However I still see it as though they are cheating us. 30% more is not the same compared to the other currencies such as jp/kr which are lower than USD. So why is it that they are still getting more than we are for the soul cash? It does not make sense if their logic is "exchange rate" its more like we will spend more so lets charge more in my opinion.

As for the refund issue....yea they really did put themselves in a messed up position because honestly they should never have had these price differences to start with. Nearly every global company has a form of "blanket pricing" that way it balances out for all customers. Baring there are extreme currencies differences. So honestly I cannot see it as anything else but a screwing.

True most major retailers allow 30 days to return an item or price match. However not sure that works in mmos. Especially when it comes to this company. I suppose we shall see. ....
