Does anyone know if the bonus damage from Soulstones is flat or is it affected by skill % and crits?
Whenever it procs, it acts as simply having higher attack stat. So to answer the question, yes, it's affected by crit and skill%

Nice. Thank you.
Kind of OP though. Without a high level set of stones you are a deadweight basically.
Display MoreAfter some extensive testing at D6, I have found that with 3 Lv9 Soulstones, 2 being your main attribute, 1 being a different one, your proc chance is increased to ~92% chance with a standard deviation of 3%. In conclusion, having 3 soulstones and 1 Crit Dmg Familiar would be ideal rather than 2 Soulstones and 2 Crit Dmg Familiars. Although you have 3 Soulstones, the proc chance is increased independently regardless of what attribute you have. As long as you are using 2 main attributes and 1 non-corresponding attribute (for example, 2 Solace and 1 Virtue) your proc chance will increase significantly. You will do quite a bit more damage than you would with just 2 crit dmg familiars socketed. I would suggest to work on 2 Solace soulstones and 1 of your choosing (not torment since it won't allow corresponding attributes to be socketed.) mainly because when Golden Citadel releases, Solace has no cons.
tl;dr - Go 3 Soulstones (2 Main Attributes, 1 Non-corresponding Attribute) to increase your damage output and 1 Crit Damage Familiar. Preferably Lv9 on all 3 to see higher damage output. You'll only proc your main attribute once you have all Lv9 soulstones.
Display MoreThat's a nice guide, thanks Ice !
Though, I have a question if you don't mind. Around the end of the guide you say:
Quotefor example, equip two Ice
Soulstones when fighting a boss resistant to Firedoes that mean you can equip and unequip whenever you want? Or I misunderstood you, and if you want to unequip without breaking it you have to buy that IM item?
Also, if a weapon has 4 slots for socketing. What is best to socket? You talked about Criticals, but as there's also the Soulstones I'm not very sure what would be best to put in those slots. How many Familiars and how many Soulstones would be best to put on weapon or gear I mean. Unless there's sockets for familiars and soulstones separated?
Thanks in advance if you reply!
EDIT: ofc you can't reply if you're banned. gf srsly
The question is does the 3rd soulstone need to be lvl 9 to get the results you mentioned? Ie, does it scale up to the 10% extra proc chance based on the lvl of the 3rd soulstone?
I have a qustion I'm leveling 2 soulstones of solace on my Pale Avenger is it worth leveling it up will I be able to remove them intact or I only get materials while extracting?

To remove soulstones intact, use Grutin Gold to purchase Socket Extractors from the Grutin-O-Mat. Then you can right click your item and go to Socket Management and click "Extract" using a socket extractor.
Extracting at Jenna will result in getting materials back instead of the soulstone.
So on my weapon, people are mostly using Solace and Virtue, which is what I'm using. Right now, I got a Level Seven and a Level Two Solace with a Level one Virtue. Should a make the first solace lvl 9 and not worry about the rest? I'm trying to also use Stones for my armor as well.
BTW, what stones should I use for my armor anyway???

Make your long term goal to have 2x Lvl 9 Solace. Lvl 1 Virtue can stay Lvl 1, the main purpose of putting in 3rd soulstone at all is to increase the element proc rate of the 2 Solace. Niche use of 3rd soulstone is for when you run Solace element casual raid (so you could have the use of high Lvl 3rd soulstone).
As for in armor.... think about the content you REALLY want to get better in. For example, in pvp you go for the elements most players use so that you can resist them. Or for PvE, equip so that you take less damage from Golden Citadel (element) mobs. It could be just the one element you have problem with, room where you die often etc.

So that's what they are for. Also, I didn't know that they still matter outside of GC and in PvP.
So for me, I might farm the blue one (Since the mods in GC is where I die) and the green one as well.
soulstone work on normal ? like GC normal
soulstone work on normal ? like GC normal
It works everywhere. The only thing to consider is whether mob has resistance to the element you're using or not (the other way around for armor). Normal mobs don't have any elemental resistance, so you will always proc whatever soulstones you use in weapon. They also don't do elemental damage so you don't need soulstone in armor.
edit: Please read the guide...
3. Normal enemies in the game are weakagainst all elements (their resistance to all elements is zero).Enemies in Elemental mode of dungeons are weak to one element (theirresistance to that element is zero), very resistant to one elementand slightly resistant to the rest four elements. In PvP, youopponent's resistance to each element is based on what kind ofSoulstones he has equipped on his armor.
So heres a question what is the best element to equip on the weapon. So far ive seen a lot of players equip Blue/Ice/Solace Soulstone and Dark/Sin Soulstone. So far from what ive heard from players Solace or Ice I guess is the best element for PvE n PvP n Sin is good for GC. So far in terms of dmg solace n Sin are go to stones on the weapon while the other elements are better off being used on armor for resistance. Correct me if I am wrong.
Also when u said u could see the element of the mini bosses n bosses, I dont see them, granted tho that I play SW on low settings n I know having High settings u will see the glow on mini bosses so I cant really tell the element.
no such thing as blue or ice or dark soulstones...

Ok, but thats not answering my question n u clearly see what I mean there.............

Solace is used since there is no enemy with solace element in GC. Sin is being used since there is some kind of myth that it helps out the 2 solaces you have vs the last boss of GC.
The truth is, I don't think it really matters and unless you want to farm solace raids(which you don't if you have solaces already), having a crit damage SF amplifier is better and probably cheaper than running a third soulstone.
Running soulstones in your armor is just a waste of money that you don't have.
When you hit enemies, their healthbar appears at the top of the screen. You can see an icon that shows their element. Enemies without elements don't have the icon.
ice isnt solace btw
Solace is healing / white
Ice is blue / grace element
The stone are really similar in appearance but thats the only way because there is a grace boss in gc and so its not a good damage stone for it
Go for double solace & double crit amplifier on weapon it will be fine ![]()
Defensive stones are only for PvP or GC (if you take too much damage from grace or hate (ice/fire) rooms)
no such thing as blue or ice or dark soulstones...
I just don't know the name at the time. It's Grace, but you know what I mean.
