We need UPDATE!!!!!!!

  • Why do I feel like a good gold sink system would be better received than updates. imo the game could go on like this for a long while even without any updates but if the prices keep rising then we kinda do have a big problem.

  • The problem of people not being able to get their luxuries without paying for them? Minor problem.

Content in general is what let's people play. The most active times are when something new comes out. And new gear or character means people are going to invest into this. The prices topic? Mainly about people trying to avoid paying real money. Rarely it's about an item that doesn't come from the Cash Shop. Also even with a money sink you won't get the items any faster.

  • You can't be like that. It is only natural that people want luxuries. Everybody wants to make progress. Progress is what keeps people here, on this game and we need everybody, literally as much players as we can attract. The server has no value in the eyes of cashers if it's empty.

A general rule of thumb would be that making things good for everyone is in the best interest of us all: me, you, Gameforge, the cashers, everyone.

And it is not mandatory for progress to come into existence through content updates only.

  • In my opinion there is no content that will keep players for long in games like Soul Worker. This game is grind-heavy. Even when we get Golden Citadel (which should be relased soon) people who do not like to grind over and over again won't stay for too long. The only end-game of SW is creating the best possible gear and it will be like that for really long time.

What I am trying to say is that game must be really fun for someone to keep them playing. That being said people will get bored of new content pretty fast if they do not like to grind over and over again for better gear : /

Personally I really enjoy game and I craft new weapons every single day to get the best possible gear in the game atm. However I do understand that this game may not be for everyone.

  • Maybe they could try to completely rework the way grutin gold is being gained and make premium items purchasable with grutin gold. This way the prices of premium items are going to be keept at bay and since grutin gold is account locked bots won't be able to sell it either. This would also give freeloaders the safety of always being able to make progress, no matter what, not depending on the existence of cashers at the cost of a lot of hard work and dedication.

(pretty much to simply expand on the whole grutin gold trading system/idea)

  • If I had to go with something, I'd say PvP arena with decently revamped PvP mechanics and rewards/progress/ranking system would be the way to go. (And yes, I do know they're working on arena)

That'd be something fresh, something you could do aside from Pve grind. It doesn't matter how good will new Pve content be cos it'll still stay as grind for gear.

We grind Fortress's dungeons to get gear for Aurith. We'll grind Aurith to get Aurith's set which will allow us to fight Primals.

  • The only thing we know at the moment is that with Soul Worker being relased out of beta they have to and they are focusing on relasing new content.

    My guesses are:

    - We will get Golden Citadel pretty soon,
    - Couple weeks after that we may get new character,

  • At any point, complaning about stuff like that is as effective as talking to a wall haha

Always remember to make your real life a priority.

  • If you want a game that's literally another world w/ character building, theres plenty of mmo like that (FFXIV, BDO, ESO, Path of Exile)

You play this game purely for the combat mechanics itself, the classes are genderlocked and have generally similar builds, so you don't really get a choice except in playstyle and a few SP allocation. if you don't like constant combat then take a break.

I do agree if they can make more pvp content or implement the d6 boss and have siege modes, etc, it would be the best way to go (because this game is combat focused and not content-focused)

Yeah It's basically like a dragon nest 2, will die out and retain a small niche playerbase grinding the new content within a week then townsitting interacting with the rest of the community lol, with a small try-hard group trying hard to get the strongest gears possible in the game, that's how it is with dungeon-rushers type of game, at least that's the feel I get

Something like this. However I do not think player base will die in Soul Worker due to it unique style. Also, as grindy as this game may be it sure is hella fun to play. What's really important is how often SW will be updated. Events adding more than "do 5 dungeons a day" will be vital for this game.

  • i rather take more costume sets over content for the time being

i want to dress up my Haru-Haru and put her in a display case!!

although i do want my advancement soon but i know this will take some time

going to "Extinction Prelude" on all bosses!!!

  • I too am quite impatient for content (especially Iris) but all we can do is wait. Hopefully they communicate more actively after 'official release'.
People can say "Move to JP or KR if you don't like this version, which trust me, I was very tempted. But I surprisingly like this community and haven't really met any bad people, so I somewhat value this community to the point I don't want to leave it.
