I dislike foreign language voice acting. Is there no chance that localization could include English voices?
English voice acting a possibility?
-
-
Possibly, but considering they're not even interested in putting the Japanese voice lines which are already recorded into the game, I doubt they'd be interested in recording English voice lines at all.
-
in the future i really hope so but since this game is going be multicultural its very unlikely cause then people will ask for Spanish voices then dutch voices etc
-
Dub when?
-
It’s a shame, because a lack of English voice acting will be a huge turnoff for a lot of people. It makes the game look like a cheap import.

I just want english moans.

I just want english moans.
moans are a global language my friend,no matter where you come from,if you communicate by moaning people WILL understand you and WILL give you their entire respect,if you're a woman that is
Beautifully said, although english moans just have a certain sultry vibe to them. I need them in my life.
If you are a woman who can fulfill such desires, please, feel free to join my discord. #ClubDepravity, now open for business.

This game was MADE for the weeb community and 90% of us enjoy JP and KR voice acting so i dont think there will be english VA, maybe later in the future, hopefully not cause dubs are absolutely awful in every anime and game, should just let the JP and KR do it imo
-
It won't happen for a low-scale game like SoulWorker.
Also the fact that it is a weeb game and almost everyone prefers anime-sounding voices over non-weeb english voices.

Excuse you? As a General of the #DubbedArmy & advocate of the Dubbed Community's rights, I'll have you know that we would love to have English voices & moans.

As true as that may be, we will never stop fighting for our rights.
However, remember guys, the war for the Dubbed Community's rights only comes second to the #RespectWomen2018 Movement.

Most likely won't happen. When done well, it can be a big financial investment. Even low quality voice acting with horrid translations can be a bit too much for most game developers early on. Especially smaller studios. It can be an option they can explore down the road if the game turns out to be a success beyond their expectations.

All that looks like anime should sound like anime!
Give us JP voice lines!
-
I think to speed things up localization, game publishers have moved toward keeping foreign languages. I personally don't mind but I do understand players wanting to hear and understand the characters. I think VA's are managed better in Japan and Korea, with long term contracts for English VA's not being as possible.
Voice Acting from what I have been told is a very costly and time filled endeavor that could push publishing a game back quite a bit and not something simple to just be tacked on at the end.
-
No.
-
A change that big probably will not happen since it's already going to open beta, aka pretty much release.
-
i guess on open beta we only get korean voices... but on release maybe

I just want english moans.
sure man sure lol get your mind out of the gutter XD

heard rumors that they didn't even have enough money to have voice acting for the grasscover camp dungeons in jp so.. english being a possibility seems far away.
but again, don't quote me on that uwu
