I just failed 12 times in a row trying to go from +3 to +4 in a new weapon I got. This has never happened before, not even close. Usually I get it in 1 -3 tries at this level. I could just be incredibly unlucky, but it seems a bit off to me. Wondering if anyone else has noticed unusually high failures with enhancements since the latest patch.

If that happens like 10 times in a row again something like be odd. Otherwise just bad RNG.
Well you can make a bug report, but how do you think they will react?

lol I had to do 25 attempts to get a level 18 weapon for an alt to +6 yesterday and that was after breaking another level 18 weapon.

Getting +6 is quite different than getting +4. It usually takes only 1-3 tries to get +4. 12 failures in a row is highly unusual. It's still sitting at +3, lol. I'll just wait a day or 2 to see if anyone else notices anything strange before trying again.

I know lots of people that use up their 25 counts trying to get +6, but I've never heard of anyone till now who failed 12 times in a row trying to get +4. And I failed another 3 times since I posted so I'm at 15 failures now.

I failed 7 times in a row got get to +4 and that was like three or four weeks ago. You are judging RNG wrong. You can have a 95% chance to hit but still miss 5 times in a row. If you want to verify this you need a larger sample size. Of course asking how many attempts other people needed achieves this goal.
I am not saying that to be mean, but whoever is going to work on a potentially bug report is not going to bother do a in depth check, unless clear evidence is provided.

Since you've been asking about other peoples experience I just tried to upgrade some stuff to +4. I got 2 times no fail, 2 times 2 fails and 1 time 5 fails. Nothing unusual there for me.
