well I personally do farm for gold whenever I have time... and stop when I tired on it.
I use the money to upgrade my gears, and buy some fashion at the same time. Last week I tried so hard to upgrade my weapon to +7 (which failed for 15 times and I was kind regret to do it). Right now I just bought another hairstyle and have a new target for soulstone.

You definitely won't be alt farming, that's for sure.

There are a few things you can do, but the game is still undeveloped so you gotta wait until more content will come. What you can do with the content we have at the moment is:
-Raids, farm up them elements! (Personally, I would find a guild to help you learn what raids are or search for a party in the N tab)
-Farming Ruin Fortress dungeons for the Vicarious Calling set (Its the current best gear you can find)
-Grinding manic runs for money (You can save up for them juicy cosmetics?)
-Rift Arena: PvP (I put this one a bit down below because you do kinda need a certain level of gear to even survive against other players, so do take caution)
-Grinding new characters to get Akasha Cards/Anti-Destructs/Respawners to send to your main (They kinda nerfed this recently by nerfing the time you need to wait to make a new character from 1day > 7days, but its still do-able)-100% Completetion for each town (This is if you're absolutely done with everything mentioned above, and just want to burn energy)

There ain't much to do.
- Raids are bugged for new raiders so for example I can't get past LC and the rewards for clearing them are sad.
- Chances are by the time you are lv55 you've saved enough money for the Vicarious Calling set.
- Grinding Manic runs (Sure, although you'll burn out in just a few hours, it's better to farm raids then which are..)
- PvP is garbage.
- Playing new characters is the only type of "fresh" content that you can do, they have different stories, skillsets and you'll be able to play the game from an experienced POV. You'll also be getting rewards that you could send to your main.
- 100% for each town is also a thing you can do but Ruin Fortress is a b**** to 100%.

Yeah but...they aren't anymore. If you still can't complete the quest, try abandon it, restart your PC, than reaquire it and do one run normal mode. That should complete it.

That's my biggest problem at the moment. Aside from the Dzenai gain which is dropped by the lower enemies there is nothing to gain expect from your 1 refined solace every blue moon. So pointless to run.
