I kind like the update tbh... creating new character to farm is annoying.
And didn't mention they seems make the characters name reusable.
Well if GF can add a source for veterans to farm AR cards and protection I'll be more happier (or reduce the gutin gold cost). But I'm okay with the current update.

You got it wrong. My point is we should ask GF about free ways to get those cards directly. Protests against removing such flaws as exploits is irrational. It's the same as if we protested against fixing dupes or hacks.

Many people were active only cause they have to farm cards. Guess what? Only way to farm cards now is going to be with $$. What a good way to farm, huh?
And I might sound like I'm retard but can someone, please, explain me why creating a character, farming the 1st city and then delete it is an exploit?
Firstly I thought they destroyed the alt farming because of the costumes. Many people made an alter just to get 1 of the 4 costumes you get, so they could have every costume without spending 980coins (not sure about its cost). But, then, I read something about what I asked before, something like "they do that because the akasha/resurrect/protectors farming is an exploit. Not sure about that, because there is anything about that, what they said is a bit ambiguous. So, if they do it because of the case of the costumes, isn't it easier and better for the players to just make those costumes "untradable via bank"?

They are managing a game, they should see the big picture. The people here is spewing acid because the only way to get these are being taken away. The managers must be capable of predicting the outcome of things they do, if not they are incompetent, and must be trained more. Your common Joe will not say hey its taking too much time to farm 3 alts every day to get these akashas/grutin golds/anti destructs etc. But they will get angry if you take away those without any compensation. Do they need compensation, depends on the standing of the company. If they do not care about f2p base, they will just say screw you and continue their business. Do they see the bigger picture is the real question here.

So? Unlimited is still unlimited. You only need to play 3h to get stable income of Akasha. If you had to farm transmitters in districts/raids there's no guarantee that you get same amount in same period(not to mention difference in difficulties).

Still there is nothing to stop me from playing low levelled characters with overpowered equipments, so the district one would be another exploit and this cycle goes for ever possible situation you may come up. The exploit by definition is dependent to point of view...

I'd agree with you if they'd actually..you know..get rid of the exploit. But they don't so I guess it's not that big of a deal. They also stated it's got something to do with new-player rewards however, they don't state what those are. The only things that would make sense to me to be called that would be the level-reward chests you get, so some insignificant amount of grutin-gold as well as some casual fashion-stuff and unimportant equipment since those alts are already equipped way better. It's the progression-system that matters, not any kind of "new-player reward".
I wonder how the other servers adressed this though since apparently, they did something about it. Do you just not gain any city-progression on alts on those servers? Are you locked out of getting the full fashion-set of a city as well? Cause that would seem far worse to me than just having to wait longer for the next farm-day, even though I still think 7 days is too much.

Nekorin everything you said is true, I think people (myself include) are angry for 2 reasons :
- We are getting the felling that Gameforge is adressing the problems that are effecting their revenu before those affecting players quality of life and gameplay in general. Even if this statement is wrong, its frustrating.
- Many players are use to alt farming, and this farm gave a good impression of the game as we were feelling that the core progression mechanics weren't lock behind a paywall.
This issue should have been adress either way ealier, or more cleaverly. The way and the timing are horrible.
This is all about feelling, and no reason can overcome that right now.
