An Easy Way To Fix All Of This

  • Just make antis and transmitters tradable and sellable via the market. Hell you dont even need to make ones you farm with alts tradeable just the store ones and the payers would buy those and sell them.

Its to bad mmos dont make all store items tradeable like na tera did. I loved that.

Alas knowing gameforge i seriously doubt they would even consider it even though it would make them far more money then this path cause of how expensive the antis and transmitters are.

  • This could be a fix, though the rioting isn't only about this at this point, it's about the fact the fact prioritized 'fixing' something that kept people playing instead of trying to fix any of the problems making people leave right now. If it wasn't about that I'm pretty sure the community would have taken it more lightly but right now it's just a lot of accumulation that's coming out.

But yea, in terms of akasha/anti-D/expansion ticket it could be a nice idea to make them tradeable ( yes that would allow whales to make even more money without doing anything but at least the items wouldn't be restricted behind a paywall anymore), but they'd also have to address the issues of the game now cause most players are about to snap(or already did)

    Issue right now:

    - Armies of gold bot lolis

    - Gold selling spam bots(both in mega and rucco town)

    - Gold buyers doing whatever they want with no punishment

    - Market inflation due to the 3 above, making it extremely hard to get into the game for a new lvl 55.

    - The lack of interaction with the commununity

    - The lack of Documentation(the patch notes are a bit lacking, we have to discover what's new in the game by ourself)

    - The lack of event to motivate the players to play despite the lack of content

    - Questionable priority on content release, while the community was dying for actual content, you released a pvp update in a game where nobody care about pvp cause there's no balancing.

    - No bug fixing, the game has been out for about 2-3 months now, yet the crash report button still doesn't work 99% of the time. Tons of bugs that were reported during early beta still have not been fixed ,.and at this point , playing this game is centered around finding/using bugs to become more efficient, some bugs even allow you to skip entire raids and jump straight to boss.

-(new) Now the endgame is literally locked behind a paywall, items that are necessary for end-game progression that can only be obtained through cash shop, which also aren't tradeable

Despite all the problems listed above(there's more but those are the ones I could think of quickly), gameforge prioritized taking away alt farming over fixing anything, adding issues instead.

It's fine for a f2p publisher to be greedy, you have bills to pay, employees, servers cost, office, licensing and all that shit but at least provide quality to make it worth investing on.

  • Will be forwarded (but I can't give feedback that fast - needs to be discussed internally and with the developer too). We (CMs) will collect anyway all complains / suggestions / comments.

    Former Responsible Community Manager

  • And now another issue, you didn't only take out alt farming, but you also took out energy converters farming, so basically now end-game players waiting for new content have LITERALLY nothing to do anymore, applying such a change when we're already craving for content/things to do..... Should have at least waited for golden citadel release if you wanted to pull out such a change so players can replace their routines...as someone who always found a way to find something to do despite the lack of content, I'm currently staring at the screen wondering what to do with my life

I think what would be better is grabbing people who actually care about the game and want improvements and seeing what we think about it before implementing releases unless you already do this. In some other games devs/publishers ask groups of players what they think of these changes or what could be changed sometimes before they implement it. There's tons of detailed suggestions in the suggestion threads, but unfortunately it feels like no one really looks at it unless it makes it to General with all of us posting feedback like yesterday. Most of the feedback threads have to be updated now with the recent changes, but majority of the same issues are not resolved.

Yes we understand Gameforge has to make profits in mind, but there are ways to balance it where people can be happy at least between both the F2P and P2P communities. The key is finding these people who arn't just going to ask for lets make Weapon Upgrade Chips drop 100%, there are compromises and alternatives. This game isn't a triple AAA Blockbuster title with a lot of hype like Guild Wars, Aion, Tera, and Black Desert. This game is very niche and caters to a certain demographic who like hack n slash games and anime style games. Most of us have played other games and we can tell right away whether this is going to be good game or bad game from other experiences. Gamers are more demanding then way before, we want good service, good content, fixes, and information of patch notes.

Right now it's going to be hard to salvage the PR side of things, but you know it's okay to own up to it and announce it that there were mess ups and what you guys are trying to do to solve this. As much as collecting information is fine, having a active Community Manager that is more involved with the community and bringing up issues to the playerbase on what we would like to see is more likely to help solve the problem.
