Which character to play?

    So I've played MMORPG's quite a bit and have always been drawn to the numbers. I LOVE seeing big damage numbers whether it be through AOE (Mage, archers and stuff) or through spike damage on bosses (thief, warriors, etc.).

    I've trolled around the forums and older posts as well but can't seem to have a grasp of which "DPS" character to go with.... Erwin seems fun with dual guns but noticed he's close range. Lily I think is cool because of her Scythe and can do aoe...


    Question is this, which of these 2 can typically pump out more damage? Gear and skill level the same, which one would you rather have in a raid? Which one is good solo?


    Please help me find direction

    Everyone start with relatively close range skills... However I do believe he get many great range skills later (not Erwin player so).


    Your 2 questions can't really decide which character to go for though (Which one would you rather have in a raid? Which one is good solo?).



    Erwin


    • High evasion value.
    • Has the longest skill ranges.
    • High burst SA Break.
    • Can buff ally movespeed and SG regen.
    • Normal SG recovery method is combo-based, needs practice and timely execution of skill rotations.
    • No HP self-sustain method.
    • Relatively slow at mobbing.


    Lily


    • Has balanced both critical damage and critical rate at highest rate among all characters.
    • Can increase allies' critical rate.
    • High SA Break rate.
    • High burst potential.
    • High SG dependency.
    • HP sustaining skill is highly dependent on critical rate.
    • Poor SG management.

    I mean I've got both to lvl 30 and I've accessed Erwin's long range skills and all that but my question is this right, is he good for solo or party? Is Lily good solo or party. Which instances does one perform well compared to the other performing poorly on?


    I'm the type of player that's ok playing solo or in a team, preferably in a team of course. With that in mind however, which of the two can pump out more damage?

    Guess She won't get strong until I'm done leveling eh? Because right now it seems like her damage against elites and bosses seem to be quite small compared to Erwin

    The thing is both can do solo and party. When I play Lily, having Erwin around helps (from his buff and his ability to burst boss down). I believe it's the same from Erwin's as he get Lily's crit buff. Many of Erwin's skills are somewhat linear... so grouping up mobs and finish them fast is your main concern for solo I guess.

    Yeah, in terms of getting there she'll have a harder time than Erwin since he's got longer range skills than Lily, but once geared you should be able to burst down elites and bosses in matter of seconds.
