You get bonus-cash by using certain payment-methods like paypal. However, those aren't available if you play via Steam since it only uses money from your steam-acc so you can't use any of the benefitial payment-methods. It always goes through Steam first.

They did, but steam is still more expensive. Probably due to steam royalties.On the highest tier, I would save $11. And also get 1,500 bonus SC from credit card.
=$20 or an extra outfit.
