Well, that is absolutely fine and how it should be. Don't let someone else tell you what to do. Just use it as information to make your own judgment. That goes for reviews as well. Just because a game does not have the best review score doesn't mean it will be no fun. The reverse is also true.

Games are about having fun. Being objectively better doesn't mean it's necessary more fun. The later is much more complicate. Some people like playing harder classes or simply enjoy the character design more. Those points are obviously not included if one just talks about which class might be objectively better.
