Steam Cant Detect Soulworker Files?

THIS IS HAPPENING AFTER THAT 3GB UPDATE AND NOW STEAM IS ALWAYS UNABLE TO READ THE FILES EVEN I HAD BACKUP ON I HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD AT LEAST ALL FILES AGAIN WTF

1st time happening:Download detected files and only resumed at 1 GB

I love this game but how can i always painfully DOWNLOAD GIGABYTES OF FILES With LIMITED DATA USAGE of LITERALLY 5 GB each DAY

I wanted to switch to the main launcher but all my progress on steam and beta awards would go to Waste.

I was told this is a known issue for months now how come it isnt even fixed it?

Does the other games re-download?No,Only Soulworker Does this Whole Re-downloading thing.So it isnt Steam's Fault.

Need response for this Asap.

There wasn't indication for corrupted files.I had saved 2 backup's of the game one from steam and other from my disk. and did simply the deleting and reinstalling and with avail of no luck.

1. Get rid of the game completely. Nothing that steam could reload from shoudl exist anymore. That includes all possible backups. At put them were steam can't access them.

3. Download everything again. Like you did when first installing the game.

You might have done this already. Your text isn't really clear on that.

There is no indication for corrupted files. That's the whole point why I would try this.

Another thing: Where are you saving those files? Steam does start with admin privileges, right? Make sure it it isn't in the default Programms folder.

That are the typical errors. Other then that I have no idea.

I did that steps already when it happened during march,completely deleted everything.Worked

but for some reason it came back after the patch came.and waiting for 2 days just to download this game is frustrating enough especially with a 5Gb internet limit and A family of 5 using the internet.

Im currently doing the steps you gave right now again and if the files wont be DETECTED BY THE TIME I FINISH AND RESTART THE COMPUTER then its a sign for me to drop this game.
