Just a pretty cool suggestion here, it would be AWESOME if the game dont kick you out after 5 minutes of inactivity while using a mat.
I mean, if I use a 30 minutes or 1 hour mat, of course i'll go afk and i'll do something else, i wont be waiting in front of my pc, contemplating how my Haru, stella or other hero is cute or ugly while asking myself existential question about outer life form in our galaxy. You force people waiting and you shouldnt, at least, not while using a mat.

Kinda confused since that never happened to me and I've been afk for far longer than an hour at times. If that mechanic actually exists, it should be removed but currently, I'm not sure it does.

I've....never DCed for inactivity? and I've afked for over 4 hours before, same with my friend. I'm pretty sure your internet is just faulty or something 'cause I've never seen people DC for inactivity.

I can assure you that every time i go afk for 5 minutes ( i double checked, and its always after 5 minutes ) i get the following message : Disconnected from the server for inactivity. Also, if it was my internet, i would disconnect even while playing, which never happen

often i got too sleepy to close the game and leave it like that in the night. I still connected when the sun rise high.
Btw, i use windowed mode, not full screen

No, if you were playing in full screen it’d be most probably why you dc’d. I afked 6 hours in border less and nothing happened, but when the music ends while altabbed and playing in full screen it dc after 5 minutes

I can afk all day long so long as I don't alt tab out of the game, there's something that checks if you are active or if the game window is active I'm not sure.
I think it would be nice if they could add a feature just for radios/mats that would allow players to alt tab while using them so they don't have to stare at nothing for hours. Maybe start a suggestion thread.

Ok so, alt tab might be the problem here. Never thought about that. I'll give it a try and see what happen.

Like I said I'm not sure exactly how it works but I play dual monitor full screen. It's cool to know that borderless windowed doesn't do that apparently but it annoying for full screen players lol, why it's different who knows.

When you alt tab in borderless does it minimize the window or just pull whatever you tab to up over the game. If it only pulls up what you tab to the front, the game most likely will still consider you as active and will only start the inactive timer when the game is minimized. The reason it is most prevalent in fullscreen is cause when you alt tab it will automatically minimize the game.

So it looks like it comes down to the game being minimized causing the afk kicking function which is the outcome of alt tabbing from full screen.
Time to run windowed borderless from now on

I walk away AFK for about 3 or 4 hours at times, never been disconnected. However, I run in windowed borderless, so I suggest that.
