What happens if you get over 100% crit eg with akasha card procs? Is it just wasted stats or does the extra contribute to your crit damage etc somehow?
overcapping crit %

how did you get more than 100 % ? I dont think u can get over 80%
-
It is possible, I know some players which has atm 103%-105%.
It will do a critical of critical hit? Who knows, it seems like just doing a normal critical hit. -
If you were to able to get over 100% Crit rate, the overcap will go to waste. Having 100% crit means that you will always hit as a crit. So if you had 110% crit, you will still hit a crit 100% of the time. So naturally, it would seem, yes, overcapping crit will go to waste.
The only reason to overcap stats is if you are taking debuffs into factor. In other games, some monsters can apply debuffs on you that will lower your stats. I haven't been playing long enough to encounter any debuffs, so I do not know if debuffs like this even exists ingame. If some debuffs like this do exists, then overcapping stats are useless.

even with the gear we have now, it is quite easy. You have a hidden base of 25% crit + 40% (2 shades) + lily buff 15% = 80% already, then you only need 20% from gear to reach 100%
-
your target can have crítical resistance (not sure if mobs have it) so it can be usefull overcap to counter this stat.

25% base crit is an assemption there is no proof AT ALL. of course if u put +25% to a stat u cna easily cap it to 75%
-
Well... suppose innate 20-25% crit doesn't exist. You can still go over.

It's not an assumption it's been tested

Go do a dungeon with 0% crit and see how much you crit if you don't believe in base crit

lol... you are going to crit a lot more than 1% buddy

The “base 20-25% Crit” is for everyone. Why it’s like that is because everyone has base 20% Crit, but Lilly has that 5% passive. The Crit you see is the bonus Crit chance you have, there’s a 1% chance to get a 5* out of the akasha box. You telling me you get as many of those as you did Crits with that 1%?...

1 star shade + 2 star shade
And also there is enough evidence to assume that there is more than 1% crit when you start. I don't know where this "20%-25%" came from(probably from datamining) but it is guaranteed that theres some hidden crit as base.
On another note, answering the OP, as far as I know it will be a waste; overcapped stats is "Extra" that will not be used.anything above 100% is not included. If I was you I would remove 1star shade, there are way better options.

It also depends on your character. You need to decide what you need more. More attack speed? More stamina? Some active attack cards? etc.
I'm running double Shade as well though.
