Why limited akasha transmitters pack is a scam and you shouldn't buy it

  • lets be honest, GF always does things with a plan to get people to buy SC. They are obviously taking the farming part of aksha cards away, making empty aksha card (now they tempt those who never bought cards but really need them) overprized and then release this "Event" which they don't announce cause people will flame them for only thinking about money. Master strategy. Well played.

  • I mean if you where already planning on spending $50 on akasha cards it doesnt really matter

    645x10=6450 for 50 cards normally, or 6395 for 50 cards + 5 good ones

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • The problem with the 50 cards akasha pack is the 2 limited event transmitters. I wish I could speak with GF team really, because it didn't make sense the first time and they did it a second time/ How can you make a special event with limited cards that you aren't guaranted to get when you open them? I'd rather pay 10 bucks for limited cards transmitters that I'm sure would be these, or to buy this pack, even expensive, but to not feel screwed because I didn't get limited cards because they are drowned in the mass of other cards. Come on guys, this pack is fine but make it 100% chance to get them.

  • Have you count the way buying regular AR individually? It probably work in that way.

I wouldn't call it a scam since you still get what you paid; you just didn't get any discount. And they didn't really pricing the limited AR transmitter. It could be either 200SC or 2000SC or even 7000SC, and I'm pretty sure some ppl will still buying with that price.

On the other hand it is an obsolete marketing/advertising way that make you feel annoying. It would be nicer if they simply say 'buying a limited AR package coming with 2 limited AR!' in my opinion. But people will still criticize anyway because they named GF and have a pretty GF style shop with old fashion GF interface...you can't change people's impression by a day or two.

  • They advertise 5 transmitters as "gift" which is false advertising. If every merchant would do the same would you agree and be happy ? Price of limited akasha transmitters is included , which shouldn't be . If they advertise as "free" price should be like 6750 SC ( because of 50 transmitters ) + eventually discount and extra 5 transmitters . So basically :

Limited akasha pack get it now ! 6750 with 9% discount is 6142 SC and we extra give you 5 limited akasha transmitters !

    NOT scam like this :

We raised price for pack that includes 50 transmitters worth 6750 SC and 5 limited ones "gifted" to you to 7027 Soul Cash , then we discounted it by 9% ! Now you only pay at least 277 Soul Cash for your "gifted" akasha transmitters that we supposedly should give you for free ! Now it's only 6395 Soul Cash. Grab it now !

    It's false advertising , it's not legal .

  • Sadly, it's not illegal/deceptive or otherwise because most failed to read the offer. All numbers coming from figures based on other offers are not valid sources of comparison to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the presentation of the offer either, but it is what it is.

The offer clearly lists 7105 6395 Discounted.

Using their listed numbers it's basically a 10% discount.

The best that can be done is to request they look into the matter since the offer was simply reused without correcting it.

  • I'm not a white knight, but I do have a wide selection of shrubberies, coconuts to hit together to emulate a horse galloping and the location of a recent quadruple amputee in black armor that refuses to admit defeat. If you act now I'll throw in some ornery Frenchmen with a catapult.

  • Just a question... How come the Limited Akasha Bundle is grayed out?
Is there some sort of restriction for it? I remember seeing something similar to that Clouddream costume bundle.

I have enough for that 1 x Akasha Transmitter and it shows it being grayed out.

I believe you have to be lvl 15 to buy any tradeable items.

  • I was quite disappointed when I learned the Limited Akashas are not 100% chance to get. I even bought 2 of these bundles, and still no luck. Waste of money. Ridiculous price, and shame for not being clear on RNG.
