Events of the game

  • I just explained that to you.

I'm not trying to tell them HOW to make events. I just wanted them to make events. I don't think the devs need us to tell them how to make events since there are already so many events from so many games out there that they can get ideas from.

What I wanted to achieve was to get events and threea from GameForge already said in this thread that they will speak to the devs about adding events, so I sort of did achieve what I wanted. So what do you mean nothing comes from just talking when I actually got what I wanted???

As for the 30 min to 1 hr thing, I already said that the time spent doing the event itself doesn't have to generate revenue. Its about keeping the server alive with a healthy population. So that players don't leave due to empty servers and having nobody to play with. The only way they will make money is if players are actually logging into their game.

The idea is to get people logging in daily to do something. Then they may do something else with others (or solo) once they are already in the game. Its all about trying to retain active playerbase.

Events are a means to help retain a healthy population playing so that they will spend money in the game. (It is not the only means either.) More players generally means more money. Nobody playing means no money.

Did you reply without reading anything I wrote?

  • Hey everyone!

Just to answer to the original topic of this thread, we are discussing with the developer in order to bring more events into the game soon, so stay tuned! ;)

Where did you get the "more" from. If we are generous and call the easter one we had 1 in total.

  • Let me show you what you sound like. Keep in mind im a builder irl. "i want a beautiful house" me " your in the right place. what would you like it to look like? "ohh it will be a beautiful" right.....ummm which direction would you like it to face, what material, you know the basics sir. You "ohhh the most beautiful house has to face the most beautiful direction, and uses the most beautiful material. were going to build a wall a big beautiful wall. oops i mean house. My friends are going to be there, your friends are going to be there. Its going to be amazingly beautiful"......

Hope ya got what i did there. Give ideas not just desires. Desires are nothing without any effort to make them a reality. :-D

LOL me too! One thing we all have to remember is that the game was released only 3 months ago for NA/EU. I imagine, even after beta testing, they are still working on server stabilization as they bring content in a little at a time, like every other publisher.

A bit of patience goes a long way, especially when they don't seem to have much a game presence. Maybe hire an event team to rectify this dilemma for players, if they can afford it that is?

  • And you sound like someone who never reads before replying. I even BOLDED it for you.

I'm not trying to tell them HOW to make events. I just wanted them to make events.

Now I'll bold some more for you ...

I don't think the devs need us to tell them how to make events since there are already so many events from so many games out there that they can get ideas from.

They don't need or care about your ideas. If you think they'll listen to your ideas, then go for it. But I'm not delusional, so I'm not gonna waste my time.

For now, I'll leave you with just that to think over and digest.

The result of this thread is that GameForge will speak with the devs to add more events. That to me is a win in reality. :)

  • Its not just your win lol we all wanted events o.O. and they took ideas from people here that posted what they though. You know ideas not just wants. Im looking forward to it. This was not just an "i want this" type of thing. because as any adult no you just tell the kids "sorry you have to eat dinner first or ohh not right not its to late" the cake (new event) is the result of people actually taking the time to use brain power and give suggestions.

Either way i hope you enjoy it and i look forward to our victory! :-D just like irl those who actually create things and ideas make more than those that just hope something happen. Hell i hope we in a party together since its going to take 50 people. lol :-p

  • I never said it was MY win. I said "The result of this thread is that GameForge will speak with the devs to add more events. That to me is a win"

"This thread" refers to the whole thread. Again, you don't really read before replying.

It doesn't take much brains to come up with your ideas. It's just that some of us like to concentrate our efforts on things that can yield results. In my case, I chose to concentrate on just getting them to add more regular events.

The actual quality of the events are dependent on how much resources they're wiling to invest, not from a lack of ideas. They know how to do their jobs better than you.

  • for once your right. i did miss read my bad. However i still stand by what i said. You offered nothing. Just a want. Its not about telling a person how to do a job. Its about telling them what you think will make it better. Look lets use common sense. Most people are not game developers yet in many mmos the games ask for ideas. Your taking this to some where that makes no sense. Simply put. Its easier to work off of an idea then just someone wanting something.

As i said eariler a "house, a big beautiful house" your mind is still there. no concept of "ohh let me help with some positive ideas" nope. But ehh oh well. Still looking forward to the even. That all people desired ohh no that gave ideas about :-p. okay heres something fun for you to do. which is easier to desire to be worth millions or to create it? Enough said. good day to you sir.

ps. was not really shooting shots at you untill you said something about me not reading lol And your response is the same as most people "im not telling them how to do their jobs. they know how." to me that is such a cop out and saying you have no clue or any ideas that could help the situation. Its a fantasy game man use ya imagination :-p lol

  • What do you mean I offer nothing? This thread was about the lack of events and I presented reasons as to why they should add events. And the result of this thread is that GameForge will now speak with the devs to add more events. This to me is a win. And I at least tried to help contribute to a common cause that resulted in this win.

You on the otherhand did nothing but argue without reading and wasting my time. You have zero contribution to this win. Your "ïdeas" are nothing special, get over yourself. GameForge did not say they're gonna tell the devs to use your "ïdeas" to do their events. Your ideas did nothing. If anything, your posts almost derailed this thread because of your crazy arguments with me.

  • I took the time and read what you 2 were talking about, and i can't recommend someone doing that as well. How can 1 person even suggest that we do their job. And you can't believe, that people won't spent money on gaming for 30mins? I guess you never heard of mobile gacha games. In fact, most people here (talking about a different topic) seem to have no clue how most MMO's run these days. How is it hard to understand, that you have to make your player base log in.

Currently, if you done and bored with the game, you don't even have to log on since the daily reward is mostly mediocre except for some days(if you even need that, depends how far you've gotten in the game) This was already talked about in a different thread, but even daily quests are so tedious and aren't worth your time. This isn't the topic of this thread so i end it here. Fact is, you need to entice people to log on.

ps. respect to Critic that you even bothered answering them.

  • Event Classification Description Examples Player Engagement
I These events involve player rewards from simply logging in for a period of time, or entering some dungeons, or completing some raids, or some simple quests; simply rewarding players for playing and/or logging in. Roulette wheel spins of specialized wanted items, Picking up Halloween candy, easter eggs and trading it in General-Purpose, Low, Can be good if RNG boxes are involved with very good loot, or 'x streaks' for +chance of specialized loot
II These events involves players logging in and participating in "GM" or community events, with no particular built in-game rooms/areas/events. Hide and seek, charades, quiz q&a, dueling, pairs and matching, treasure hunt Time-Consuming, Moderate Impact, Can be done at intervals to improve playerbase retention
III These events involve players achieving some particular achievement within a defined period of time. Get X level, wear Y costume and win Z contest, First 500 players to do A Moderate to high depending on rewards
IV These events involve players completing some specialized built-in game quests and/or specialized tasks and/or killing routine things Finding a particular NPC, solving a particular riddle, unlocking a hidden quest, doing some unknown tasks/easter eggs, killing a raid boss that spawns at a particular time Low to high, depending on rewards
V These events involve playing the game actively in a specialized 'event' activity which are dev-content made. Winter snowball throwing, racing, Summer water 'gunning', Specialized 'invasion dungeons' that are RNG-generated and drop rare loots, Jump quests, X/O Quiz Rooms, 'party' quests which involve multiple mechanics (turning on/off switches, moving blocks, turning dials, solving puzzles, etc) Very high, usually

To bad no one will respond, read or do anything about this, awesome ideas but past months prove that no matter what players do if it is not a guide no one will notice or respond to them. GF at its finest, this forum s more of a chat between players and bug report nothing more.

Community Manager already replied in this thread and said they're talking with the devs regarding events?(
