Why no 1 only server?

Yeah, but for instance I can't see polish server being crowded so I kinda wonder about that. I may be suprised in the end! Time will show.

ghoulas I didnt think about cross server dungeon finder, I hope they implement that

Honestly i wish it would be only 1 server too but i think they are doing this so we can all have a smoother experience. with that said, it wouldnt suprise me that they will put the servers all together in the future

I believe, the kr server didn't have cross server dungeons. I could be wrong it's been a long time since i played :p but if they didn't i doubt GF would implement it themselves

Well, even if they implement cross-server dungeon party finder, it's not a good solution for a game like Soul Worker. From my experience in KR/JP servers, people only use the party matching system in the very first few days of the server. After that, it's literally impossible to find a party using matching system, as no one clicks on the auto-match button.

Reasons why no one uses the auto-matching:

- You can only queue for one dungeon at a time (if you wanted to queue for all Casual Raids you have entries for, that's impossible, you can only pick one specific dungeon and walk to its portal),

- The matching only lasts for one minute, which discourages people from using it (after the first minute has passed and no one else showed up, most people won't re-queue, or they will only try to re-queue once or twice before giving up),

- You cannot move or do other stuff in-game while you're being in the matching process (you must stand near the portal, if you move the matching is cancelled),

- People usually find parties in guild, friends, whispers, discord, or via the "Party Recruitment" feature by pressing N in-game and posting a notice for party recruitment (this feature is completely different from auto-matching performed at the dungeon's portal, you can freely move and do other stuff while you're waiting for people to respond to your Notice set in the N menu - however, this feature will most likely not be cross-server),

- Some people just solo Casual Raids.

- For dungeons like Golden Citadel (Elemental) or Primal, people usually want to inspect players to ensure they are experienced and the runs will be smooth and quick - which is the reason why almost no one uses party matching for those "hard" dungeons.

You guys think the server host for all the servers as in FR Spanish etc will be located at the same Place?

All the european server are hosted in Germany

I see, makes sense oh well lets just hope it works well and no ping issues

I'm really glad since NA got a separate server. But they could've just settled with a third server. After a while, there is going to be articles on sites about 'Soul worker shutdowns server blah blah'.

i guess they want to see how the game will fill up the servers

could be, i mean they did the same with ElSword they had alot of servers but when they saw only a few were acutally populated they started to merge the servers together so im sure no server will be dead and if it is they will fix it

They took a lot to mergue the servers and a lot of these were already dead before mergue

thats true but they did it and thats what metters, we cant judge how long it took because im sure they have reasons behind it.

No EU servers and NA servers would cause a lot of people to complain about lags ping would be way to high for people with average connections.

If gameforge thinks a game like this will have enough community to have this many servers then they might as well not even bother releasing the game on the EUW soil tbh,.
Just stick with NA since for some weird reason you can have one server for a stupid amount of states but have to divide a game that will in no way shape or form have a community big enough for even half the number of servers.

Instance based MMO with a inferior gameplay to stuff like BDO and B&S being released on the west in 2018 will somehow magically have enough ppl playing it on the EUW to warrant this stupid amount of division, K.

They could do one megaserver with the chat channells for different languages just liek ESO did.

I do think mega servers are nice or at least a crossserver dungeon finder as popular as the game will be at release its always nice even later on to be able to find people and quick also cross server guild and friend list aswell to go with it meaning if worse comes to worse and there is merges at least you might know a few people along with way from playing together.

You cant really estimate how many players EU and NA has based on your discord population xD its not accurate
