I'm sorry, but discord is irrevelant when it's comes to in game population.. I have been in a server with 1k+ ppl that would never talk about the game itself (not talking about soul worker) nor would there be many ppl playing at once, maybe around 20 or something?
anyways back on topic, unless they make it that you can server switch without any problem, the servers will die out quickly and they will end up merging them. I mean what's the point of having so many servers being that empty? kek -
Worst comes to worst, the servers get merged with no loss. It is only a precautionary measure. Can't say how many games I saw go from an initial 10-50k players, down to 2k in a couple months.

I understand that you guys want a server for each language but I've been monitoring the community since september through the community discord keeping track of the localization of every single member joining,and so far the numbers says 286 NA vs 181 EU ,meaning that EU has at least 1/3 less players than NA with 5 more servers,this can't go right,most servers would end up mainly empty,the lack of population making the different servers community feel like the game is dead,slowly killing each server population even more, I might be wrong but thats how I see it

I was more interested in the posts of the facebook team more than the people posting to them. I don't think you should really prepare for the worst like that without really getting more information from the actual game's team though. No one knows how they are going to handle this yet.

Guys population on the national servers wil only depend on the advertisement and marketing campaign. If GF will make a good campaign it will get loads of people cause of the lack of good localized games in market. At least I'm speaking of Poland. From what I saw in many MMO's if the campaign was horrible population was horrible at the start and the game died in like half a year.

no matter how much advertisement they do,this game only appeal to the weeb community,and if youre a weeb and dont know soul worker yet theres a problem lol (making the advertisement pointless),though I agree one server isnt the best cause of the language shitstorm,I dont even have any ideas anymore for solutions for EU lol ,also,games advertisement today are mostly fake so people dont even bother looking stuff up when they see something good cause they think its fake

Over the years we ran international servers and also language specific ones and we made the experience that players appreciate if they can play without being distracted by conversations in different languages. We don’t have any cross server matchmaking system for dungeons but you can always choose to start on a different server from your location.
