Doomaquin of Ruccotown, too hard?

  • In Ruccotown, Showtime episode4 ''Silver Scythe'' there is certain clown that keeps reking hopes and dreams of any and every new Soulworkers ((sometimes alts)mostly)) that dares to challenge him. Im not talking about Edgar.


    Jokaquin or rather two of them that spawn on third part of the district. Now firstly, he is hard as my love for iris in the morning, and second he seems to occasionally reset; He will walk slowly back to same spot he spawned from and regenerate hp and super armor to max.


    Conditions that i noticed that makes him reset; when one of Jokaquins that spawn are dead other one OCCASIONALLY walks back and resets. Second he seems to walk back and reset after you backed far enough from his initial spawn point.


    -As for hard part. On normal difficulty he seems a little too hard to combat. Solutions to this is of course try to reach lv 13 and buy out cheapest set of lv 13 gear you can find or try to use akasha cards. But even then which makes the fight hardest is his constant stuns by bombs. Which isn't bad since you have something to watch out for. But when he has health of a mammoth it doesn't really make things intresting but rather frustrating. Since only way to beat him is to chip his hp and back down, for about 5 minutes. This encounter is harder than the boss in the district.


    I woudn't be complaining about toughness of this particular mobster, but even with party of players it doesn't really seem easier unless you got players carrying you. Doomaquin.png

  • i think 1 of them is buggy because "you" make with a full combo (me with lvl 13 erwin) and ca. 3%-6% is gone and he have super armor without a bar ....
    i think one way for me is a half hour fight agains him

  • These mini-bosses they arent actually your regular mini-bosses with a yellow aura. Instead they are 2 actual bosses from episode 1 which is so difficult to beat them as new player, this is the only area in this game that has that, in further areas it won't have any mini-bosses as actual bosses.

    Apart from raids, you are right.


    Second time you meet Doomaquins is in Festival raid in Rucco town. They seem to be a lot better scaled to lv 55 to fight them.


    However these lv 17 doomaquins in lv 13 instance are slight overkill.

  • I feel like devs put them like that intentionally consider how these 2 drop boss level loots (weapon upgrade chips, brooch transmitter, unique weapon/armour (manic), etc.). They are very tanky but the move set they have here isn't very threatening.
