That would suck.I can agree to that, it'd suck to have my name taken after the wipe but other than that with levels and stuff I don't really see a problem with wiping.

What a fun we have here....
The Open beta = no wipe started only because it allows company to release buggy mess and not get sued after they change it too much, or even close the game.
Beta is beta. Closed beta means you need an invite, open - well, open to anyone. That's all there is.
What actually prevents easy character wipes is cash shop. Because once a company starts charging money it means they are selling smth, product or services it matters not. What matters is that bs-ing paying customers has legal consequences.

Wipes always happen after initial tests or CBT s. OBT Rarely ever get wiped. Which is why people want a solid answer in this games case, considering that it skipped the CBT phase and went for OBT instead as far as i know?
Would have been better to just call this CBT and give a 100% on wipe rather than the constant 'maybe'. -
If we get to somehow keep our names i'll be fine with everything getting deleted. but if not then that would be pretty heart broken i kinda wanna use this name well forever really XD.

You haven't paid anything to play. No one is forcing you to help the company improve the game. Nobody's forcing you to play. It is not necessary to call CBT to the game.
I almost prefer to play without having to pay a CBT, then delete your progress and have to start playing again in a OBT.
We can play without paying and have FREE rewards.

MOST PEOPLE DON'T WANNA PLAY THE GAME IF THEY KNOW THERE CHARACTERS WILL BE WIPED SO IF THEY PLAY NOW AND THERE IS NO WIPE THERE IS NO PROBLEM BUT IF THEY STICK IN ALL THERE TIME AND THEY WILL WIPE THERE PRETTY MUTCH DONE WITH THE GAME
IT DOESN'T HURT ANYONE TO SAY YES WE WILL WIPE OR NO WE WONT.

If I can help with the understanding. Sagiri basically is saying they disapprove of games that force you to buy a founder pack to make sure you getting in CBT is guarantee in compared to being able to just jump right in a beta and play without any worry of spending a cent let alone getting lucky to get in a cbt.
If Sagiri could get in a cbt without paying then that would probably be just as good.
The idea was since we didn't pay anything for it, we should be greatful to even play it in the first place (That's how I read the first sentence, correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm sorta with it (because I have money for cheap founders for games like this so I can be pretty).
If anything tho, I'm sure they'll allow us to reserve names if they're going to wipe but with the cost of some coin of course. -

If you don't want to play, don't play.
They are giving you the opportunity to play without paying and receive rewards in return. Personally I will play the OBT and I don't care about the lack of information.
Do not frustrated thinking about the lack of information about the Wipe and enjoy the server.

mhm I don't really get the negativity. But well maybe I just don't care as much about progress anymore. I saw worse tbh in terms of communication etc. The CM/Admins at least try to help and answer. We will see what happens and if the technical team will be giving them more information about it.
