I wanna say we'll get a free reset along the lines somewhere. Maybe an event, maybe a free one from cash shop, we'll see. It'd be better to just give out skill reset than wiping.

Well this will be fun. Tommorow (after weekend) will see reactions to "Only steam users can exploit system a bit and use cash shop".
Knew things looked a bit weird after seeing ppl 2 lvls to max yesterday, by now most likely already 55.

a definitiv no to a wipe. Theres people who dont have the time to redo all they did over the course of days/weeks (well if it lasts weeks). And if there are "exp-exploits" just ban em. Should be easy to figure out since its that humongous advantage.

A wipe would be no bueno considering the amount of time and energy players have put into the game to level.
But if they wipe & somehow change exp rates I won’t be half as mad

i mean if theres no energy we are fine tbh. It would eliminate that "i have to use my energy or its wasted" aspect many people struggle with. But on the other hand they would lose way too much money the would get through the itemshop. Well just dont wipe then lol I dont wanna have a game that dies the month if gets final cause they cant pay the serverrent anymore

The new generation, that always want an easy way in. Back in the old days, you could play for months then hit a wall and after many hours of searching finally understanding that you'r build is bad and that only way to change it is to start it all over.
And this game is not out for full week yet. Soooo it's like the best time to make a new character if you fed up hard enough.

They wouldn't do a wipe just for fun, to wipe there'd be to have a major GAME-breaking(emphasis on game, server crash/lag doesnt matter, it just make playing harder) exploit that a majority of players would use to gain a major advantage over others, for example people being able to redeem the same daily login reward over a thousands time and about the steam cash shop, as a native client user I don't see this as an exploit, it's not like they're using something that's not supposed to be there, it's just that it's bugged into a non-working state on native and in the end it just make lvling faster, it doesn't break the economy or the game in any way.
The reason for the 'maybe' is exactly in case something like that happens, still better than the way aeria handles some of their open betas, 'Exploit comes up: Let's ban half the community randomly to show that we're doing something, even if we're doing it wrong even if it means banning innocent people and letting some actual abusers roam and break the economy'

I agree with you but people that actually have access to the cashshop items already have somewhat of a nice advantage to other players and everyone knows that getting lvl 55 faster is going to mean that they can make the prices for some items which people will then buy for that " Hype to be the first with good gear" kinda thing .
Which is going to give an ever bigger advantage. I guess a lot of games have this problem, there will always be one that is more dedicated than others and gets to cap lvl faster but in this game its kind of different since you will be at advantage because of EP potions and such..
Even tho I would prefer not to have a wipe since I'm almost 50 already, I do think thats already a reason to wipe tbh.

Not only NA suffers from this problem. The only servers where it seems to work are french and dutch
But than again, its not a reason for a whipe since all the community that will actually play the game, are allready playing it

The Steam issue is not really an issue at all. I play on steam, but I didn't even know about this "advantage" for like 3 days, and I'm honestly too lazy to take advantage of it most of the time.
Complaining about steam players gaining access to it and making the prices at cap is like complaining about no lifers getting to cap first and making the prices, because they have the advantage of time, where as the steam users may have the advantage of time (playing all day and taking advantage of mats) and the free stuff in the cash shop.
A wipe to only NA would be a mistake, or any other servers suffering this issue.
On top of this, I'm almost certain that most steam users do not even know or care about this advantage, as it's pretty tedious with all the relogging that you'd have to do. I know I don't, like I said earlier.
It doesn't warrant a wipe, and if they honestly think it does, that speaks a lot for what this company has in mind for the future of this game. Which is to say, not much. -
