Actually I just read the leveling guide that clearly told me to suicide at boss lmao.
Yeah, but consider how much time Ice took to compile all that information.
And it's not as if every other new player didn't have access to the same information; they just chose to not look on the forum guides.

Oh I know, but like even with knowing it until level 30 I leveled without dying to the boss so it's not like it was a huge difference until later on.

Alright I'm just going to jump into the issue about the energy system. There's a lot of things wrong about this and I'll just point out a few. The main problem here is the fact some of you think it's an exploit from an intended system in the game. If you are unsure about this talk to some people who played either jp or kr. First off, the energy system where you consume half on enter and the other half when you kill the boss needs to be here for a few reasons.
• If you don't end up being able to finish the episode, why would the game make you spend the full amount of half the rewards. Not only do you not get the DZ from killing the boss, but also the good drops on manic mode.
• This western release has been quite different from kr and jp, for me at least. This OBT has been pretty giving in terms of energy points, you have mats everywhere and energy pills. There are a lot of ways to keep playing passed the base 200 energy which is really nice.
• Without this mechanic no one could play half the time, this is a huge way to be able to grind and keep getting mats. (materials) If you are some of the people complaining about how this hasn't been fair for not being notified there are some things I would like to say. Google works like a charm still by the way. Maybe you should be glad a game has hidden mechanics to keep things interesting instead of having a base game that has no depth and no mechanics for you to play with no skill involved.

yea ik that. but why if not kill the boss and out only 50%? what im talk since the start this 1. why if kill the boss we use same enery like we enter but when we didnt kill the boss only 50% but still get exp 100%?
Technically, if you decide to skip out on the boss, you lose both the EXP from the boss and the Clear EXP (both of which are admittedly minimal/nonexistent). However, you also lose out on all of the Unique grade gear you may acquire if you do decide to kill the boss (at least on Manic). Therefore, it becomes a trade off between items or energy. You can either use the equipment for yourself or sell it on the Market for a good amount so this compromise becomes a bit more reasonable.
yea bro, i understand that and i know. and i dont mind also with this issue, im still leveling good even i never using this trick.
this just for opinion for newbie like me never play game system like this before.
just make it this more simple when enter dungeons already have description there need how many energy. just cut it the energy when enter 100% like the description how many energy we need (dc, kill bos or no, no need this).

That's not the point I'm trying to make though... ^^;

You're better off joining a discussion thread about the energy system rather than complaining about it in a thread about a potential wipe.

He's only responding to people who have taken the conversation about wipe off the rails. Currently it seems like Energy and wipe go hand in hand (Energy= Level, Money, Material, Gear)
