This skill and PVP gears and you're gucci. on advancement, that spin skill of her's gives exalted effect too for the whole duration of the animation (not sure since in the website it says some special attacks are not covered) but if it's true, from 90% immune to damage as of now she becomes 99.9% on advancement.

My own stella build (includes advancement skills) disregard the advancement skills since we don't have it yet.

  • From the perspective of a pretty avid pvper in this game...

In terms of raw 1v1 potential, I'd personally rate the "tiers" as

    1) Jin - his cc chain potential is massive and can instantly 100-0 a target without them having the possibility to escape. Even if it doesn't kill them, he has multiple cc moves as well as an exalt shield to protect himself until he can recast the combo.

    2) Stella - She has a 10 second paralysis shield on Soul Cry, which is effectively 10 seconds of free dps on a target (if done properly). However her skills do far less damage than Jin's, which is why she places lower. On the plus side, she has insane amounts of self sustain.

    3) Erwin - Some may disagree with me here, but Erwin has a fantastic kit for pvp. He has low cooldown cc moves (jump rmb) and a large amount of utility (dodge shot slows, machine gun para), while also having high damage burst skills such as grenade and soulcaster. He's not as braindead as Jin or Stella to play where it's just "click these buttons in order to win", but has high potential. To boot, he has perfect shield which greatly reduces the damage he takes.

    4) Haru - She has extremely high damage with Wind Rupture, Rain of Blades, and Slash and Dash, but that's about it. She doesn't have any sort of reliable comboable cc so she relies purely on killing enemies straight up with her damage. In group pvp where there's less of a focus this isn't a big problem, but in a 1v1 scenario Haru may find herself low on options unless she outgears the opponent.

    5) Lilly - If she catches you in die-phoon, you die. If she doesn't catch you in die-phoon, she dies. Her kit isn't great in a 1v1 scenario due to long cast times.

In terms of success in the Dimension Rift PvP mode -

    1) Jin - his exalt shield lets you cap points for free. Stupidly broken.

    2) Erwin - When played well, he has insane amounts of kill, interrupt, and combo potential while still retaining a pretty fast mob clear speed. Combined with the utility in his kit he's well prepped for the mess of Dimension Trip.

    3) Haru - Arguably the fastest mob clearer when geared due to Wind Rupture, her long range high damage attacks can easily secure both mob and player kills. However her lack of cc and self sustain makes them an easy target to focus.

    4) Stella - The slowest mob clearer due to her low-damage kit, but makes up for it by being nearly unkillable (when geared). Her self sustain means that unless she's being focused at all times, she will never die and surrender her points. She has insane 1v1 potential but rates lower in Dimension Trip due to her low damage and inability to secure both player and mob kills (prone to being ks'd).

    5) Lilly - one trick wonder with die-phoon. They have good mob secure potential, but that's about it. It's possible to do well when geared and sneaky by taking advantage of the fact that people ignore Lillys because they assume they're bad, but their kit simply doesn't work all that well for Rift.

As far as what this guy said,

    nREl7J2.png

This skill and PVP gears and you're gucci. on advancement, that spin skill of her's gives exalted effect too for the whole duration of the animation (not sure since in the website it says some special attacks are not covered) but if it's true, from 90% immune to damage as of now she becomes 99.9% on advancement.

Stella's advancement whirlwind is not an exalt, it is similar to Erwin's "perfect shield" where incoming damage is guaranteed to miss.

In addition, I would highly advise against following that skill build. The support extensions are a waste of points, and not having any points in Rift Riff will gimp you extremely hard when it comes to mobbing. If it is for a pvp build, then Retaliate and Elusion should be most definitely at 3/3, and Basic attack should ideally be maxed as well. Sprint should be a mandatory max on every character in the game.

For a level 60 Stella Advancement build, I would recommend something like this.

For a level 55 Stella build, I would recommend going with something like this.

  • This is by far the most accurate response to this thread possible. As a Erwin Main and a Jin player as well, i approve.

  • I play all class too, but I seems like you don't know that Jin's Fusion Armour has weakness too, if he lost his super armour, you can use your special skills to cancel his capturing, well I guess many people don't know that unless you actually play Jin on rift, also the scenario inside rift is when you get focused, specially those "Teamer Guilds" it's gonna be different story.

I do agree that Stella has problems clearing mobs that's a big NO, her ulti skill should clear mobs easily and we are talking about being geared here so if you are geared as Stella it's not a problem, you see 80% of people who does Rift just run away from targets that they can't kill, like I said if you play your Stella right you will realise she has more potential in PVP, in FFA and Team modes. It's good to know that her spin skill doesn't have that effect which is said in the skill sim website, combine that skill with Soul cry emergerd that's gonna be OP AF.

Erwin, ugh.. base on my experience most of them just run away and spam their skills, their evade skill is OP too but he has weakness too, that's when he jumps and use his skill, which usually everyone's habit now. You can't avoid damage while airborne FYI everyone even if you air dash. This thing is Jin's weakness too.

Haru? another wall hugger class, wind rupture nuff said.

Lily, oh my poor Lily, she's slow AF, skills you can use inside rift are limited, she's the bottom tier, die-phoon? stay near that mob circling around in the middle, easy escape from that, just make sure you time your escape right and you should be fine. Also doing this you have more advantage on points, while everyone's killing themselves you're gaining points from the mob in the middle.

Also, some people just get some "useless skills" with quite fast animations just for the "Filler" purpose in the skill chaining system, you know just to get that bonus 8% damage boost.

I'm so sorry for almost spoiling all class's weakness but I think it's fine somehow, hopefully everyone can enjoy PVP more knowing this. Some parts are maybe not accurate but this is based on my experience and you might experience something more different. 1 thing is for sure, this game is not really designed for PVP some skills are too OP for a competitive play tho PVP is fun as well as long as you enjoy it.

  • In a 1v1 scenario, assuming both players have maxed out gear for pvp and whatnot, I don't believe there is a clear cut strongest and a match would ultimately end in a draw, with neither player being able to kill the other. The shocking sun set (The pvp crafted gear) makes players super tanky. Combined with the right akasha cards and brooches, any character can potentially be an unkillable tank in 1v1 duels no matter what character opponent is/what gear their opponent is wearing. Note that this is only a 1v1 scenerio.

As for arena, I would have to say Jin is #1 simply because they can exalt and cap points when they have their super armor up.

2nd/3rd are close between Stella and Erwin.

    4th is Haru

    5th Lily

  • Reading this makes me think that you have really never played rift at the top 10/20 elo...

You can cancel Jin with exalt shield up if he doesn't have super armour, but

    1) if he doesn't have super armour, he can still proc adamants and get a free cap

    2) the primary strat as Jin is to kill a bunch of things and leave high point drops on the ground, then suicide to refresh SA and cap for free.

If anybody isn't doing that on their Jin, then they're not abusing the character right to win Rift. Even the 2 jin players highest on the NA leaderboard currently both say that the res->shield-> cap tactic has no counterplay.

I was a top 10 Stella in Rift, and even when you're geared her mob clear time is extremely slow compared to other classes. You kill a pack in 2 ticks of Bass Wave, but you still must end up sitting there for the rest of the duration which is what kills the speed potential. Compared to a class like Haru who can oneshot all 3 packs, there's no comparison.

Being unkillable isn't everything, if you don't do damage you can't win. People are not naive enough anymore in pvp to let the Stellas take the golem points for free, and her lack of instant burst means it's incredibly difficult to both secure golem kills and player kills.

If your experience with Erwin is running away and spamming skills, then you haven't played against any of the good Erwin players. I don't really have much more to say.

Your views on classes are extremely close minded and you don't take into consideration their potential or any tactics they would apply, which is what makes me think you lack actual pvp experience...especially if you're taking a tier 3 damage powerup.

  • First of all I just wanna give the OP an idea about PVP and how classes work, so I gave him so I'll try not to confront you anymore. Mr.Top10elo seems like you didn't read my descriptions for each class since you think "my views on classes are extremely close minded" *knock knock* Also you avoided some pointers I mentioned that really applies in the game, and you're here still saying that Jin is OPICANTWINAGAINSTHIMBROKENCLASSKMS, of course PVP is a mind game if you don't know how to counter class or abilities you're pretty much underhanded. I clearly mentioned their "weaknesses" or how to fight them just to somehow balance things up. The class depends on how the player plays it, and you can't really teach them that at least give them ideas how things work. I also mentioned that this game is not a PVP game which is so clear for everyone who's playing for long time now. Let's say Jin is the strongest but the OP said he/she wants to play Stella so I encourage him to do so, which applies on how I look in this game mainly Stella based on my experience. "Being unkillable" opens more potential (META) specially in PVP you just need a common sense on that part.

Judging by the way you post here more like "I'm better than you so stfu" is kinda annoying but it's fine I do respect people, hopefully you start doing that too. Mr.Top10elo, I'm sorry if I offended you on something, but this is open forums where people freely share ideas and opinions, and arguments or drama are not pleasant to see I personally don't like it myself. Here as an apology gift there's a free game I found recently, it's a VN (Visual Novel) hope you like it. FREE GAME :)

For the OP I hope you got/learned some tips from us both and other players that will post here too, although some are contradicting with each others, I guess it's best to just experience it, just play the class you really want that's the most important, enjoy it, explore your class potentials, you will learn it eventually.
