EU seems dead...how is NA? Character transfer possible?

  • Hi all,

So I kind of noticed a lot of my friends on EU left the game and the server is becoming, very dead at this point (EN SERVER mainly). My question is, how active is NA and is it a bit more alive on the guildchat/say/teamchats?

How is it for EU players to play on NA ping wise? Share your experience please!

  • Its not really my place to speak. But it seems fairly populated, As much as a smaller game can be anyways. However, you can talk to others or find guilds or something of that nature, even though I don't really go out of my way to speak to many players honestly. I made a couple friends and met some nice people along the way. So whether you want to start from scratch or wait for a possible transfer, I'd say go for it. Considering assumingly you want to main Iris at some point as well, aside from the Akasha's and some useful items its not really that much of a loss if you want to move, Again it all depends on what you find important and conflicting.

As for Ping, Either my internet is just crap or something but its good as it will ever get since Im connecting from across the globe anyways in the US. However, Im pretty sure there shouldnt be much big of a difference unless the servers are hosted at different locations then... (Its just probably my crappy internet LOL.)

I would say make a Dummy character and just get a feel for the server before you make rash decisions. I hope everything works out alright. o/

  • 6ww thank you for the detailed information! Well I am hoping for a possible server transfer, and making an alt is a good idea! And since it's more populated, it's more my thing as I like the economy side of the game aswell. I think the language barrier is also something I don't like about the European server.

We will see what GF will do!

  • EN server could be properly populated if gameforge merged the other 8 servers together, either way EN server is already full of russians italians etc is almost a miracle to find a english-speaking clan, just a waste of servers. If you're going to NA expect a increase of 300+ ping, it's pretty bad you'll feel yourself teleporting there and there.

Ya most of my raid partys are full russian, i can't understand anything. Town has no english either, rarely but i don't mind. Starting on NA is definitely not worth the increase in ping.

  • I would move, but the prices for things like Weapon Upgrade Chips and Energy Converters is more overpriced than on EU so I'd rather not

in terms of premium content like gold+silver vip packs and costumes they are full tho

NA's playing the real SW ... EN's just meh.

Every EC on NA gives you 10 WUCs, every EC on EU gives you 11.4 WUCs.

Every HQ Armor Core gives you 0.1 WUCs, 0.075 WUCs on EN.

Every solace refined gives you 0.67 WUCs on NA, 1.6 WUCs on EN.

There are 80% less hair colours available on EN.

There are 85% less hairs available on EN.

There are 60% less costumes available on EN.

Star cards are 16% cheaper on NA.

Akashi Key Cards are 350% more expensive on NA.

Soul Fizz is 65% more expensive on NA.

There are 260% more premium items available on NA.

There are 300% more D6 raiding parties on NA.

The soulcash rate is roughly 200% to that of EN.

Weapons cost 43% of NA's cost on a stat-to-stat basis comparison.

There are 30% less BPs available on the market in EN for end-gear, but BPs are similar priced for both servers (=40~77M).

GC Fragments are cheaper on NA, because end-game users already have their gear.

Fragments are 28% more expensive than EN.

Comparatively speaking, EN and NA are very similar in terms of the amount of income you get from farming raids, whether 200qube=1EC or GC Frags + Cores per day.

If anything, you can just buy out all the WUCs and ECs before the server merge, and hold the same purchasing power. You lose out on about 20% purchasing power in terms of akashi key cards, WUCs and other things but, all other things equal, you have more items available on the market.
