Chat Box Bug/Feedback

So, I've been around the NA server and noticed people talking to themselves in the normal chat. Before, I assumed it was just people being too lazy to switch the tabs (which I will get to later for feedback) but it turns out I met someone that had an issue in game of not being able to chat in specific tabs for some odd reason. I was in party chat but they were whispering me despite being in a team and told me they couldn't go in party chat. It's a bug and I'm unsure how it is caused but I like to bring it to attention.

Now to the feedback of things, it's odd when you go to click the individual tabs that the chat doesn't switch unless you enter then press the tab key to completely switch to match the tab you are currently in. This should be common in all MMORPG but it's not here. I've gotten used to it but it is annoying. It would be better if it corresponded and synced when you click on the tab on which chat box you want to be in.
