WUC's rapid growth, is it a problem?

  • With all the options you made, i just had to choose last option for the giggles. Sorry, couldn't restrain myself.

On serious note, option ''no it's a player caused issue so players should come up with a solution or stop being lazy '' is just in genuine. Should at least make it ''no, inflation is naturally/unnaturally occuring and no action should be taken'' or smth around those lines.

This. Why wouldn't you just use normal options over "nah, I'm an asshole" instead? There is literally no point in those unless you're actively trying to screw up your own poll.

Or you could read my response to that quote before quoting trying to bring it up? smart option maybe?

Anyway people usually dont want something fixed because they're abusing. The reason I didn't include a "no inflation is naturally/unnaturally occuring and no action should be taken" is because this isn't on about whether it is naturally occuring or not. This is a matter of if it is healthy for the game. If you really think that this market inflation and the current situation of WUCs is healthy for that games growth and community, then I'm gonna ask you to please not waste my time.

No its not because your opinion is opposing, it's because I genuinely think you may be blind or honestly don't care about the games health

Those who have purchased dz from third party sources or cheaters are some of the main people who are constantly causing this inflation, of course there are some people that managed to make it to the top legitimately. But by satisfying their own greed they are killing the game they supposedly love.
As I've suggested in many threads before, increasing the availability would be the first way into impacting the specific WUC problem. People won't need to buy them for such rediculous prices when they can just farm them, so sellers would actually have to make their sales look way more appealing by lowering the price if they still want buyers.
Another solution which I am sort of 50/50 about is from another person on a thread about creating a gold dump. A NPC who sells pretty reliable items but for somewhat high prices. This may make a lot of these top of the food chain 'whales' actually care about investing into their own account and actually making progress than sitting on the market tearing this games health to shreds.
However the only problem with the gold dump NPC is that if they require DZ to purchase decently valuable items, people will end up resorting to these gold purchasers even more so there would have to be some sort of way to work around it. Of course gameforge could also work a little harder to hammer down on these gold sellers and bots but oh well

  • Meanwhile, WUC is 200-700k in KR/JP servers, depending on demand.

Gameforge is known for ruining drop rates of needed in-game items. It was like this in Tera as well - back in the day, they completely removed item to re-roll stats on accessories from boss drops, and made it only in cash shop RNG boxes, which caused this item to be 10-30x more expensive than on Enmasse servers.

Gameforge doesn't care about you, players. It's not you who are playing the game. It's Gameforge who's playing YOU.

This is absolute truth. People that convincing us the fact that Gameforge has to pay it's employees doesn't make that crazy chaos RNG and drop rate of ingame needed items fair. Just look at the TERA by Destiny (it's the russian localization). It's F2P, they have fantastic online, the cash shop is not so expensive, ingame needed items can be received by doing dungeons and not wasting your time to make one hundrend twinks to get that 1 needed Akasha Card or WUC. This is all ridiculous and it WILL kill this game. It's already dying boiz judging by steamcharts. Each 2 weeks we're loosing 200 players. That's sad statistic back there. So good luck Gameforge in destroying what has left, this is THE ONLY THING what you do the best.
