Lily class concepts (Math later)

  • Ok everyone know the current problems of this class.

    Make sure to check the other classes in the near future (Haru is the next).

    Anyway here are a few new ability concepts for Lily (Other ability revamps are in progress already)


    I'm working with Rivertha (HOQ) together to improve the gameplay and balance for every single class.

    • Her basic health has been increased by (1-60) by 2.66%
    • Stats scale with 100% instead of 86,77%
    • SF gain by basic attacks has been increased by 0.2
    • Critical hits have a 5% chance to reduce the cooldown of your abilities by 0.5 seconds (2 seconds cooldown)
    • Dash/Dodge range has been increased slightly

    Cooldown: 30 seconds

    Required Lv. 32


    Lily is immune against all crowd control effects for 2 sec and decreasing incoming damage by 15% for 20 sec.

    Lily can use the ability while she is crowd controlled.



    LP1-2.png Intensifying Madness [Passive]


    Increase Critical Damage. (400/800/1300)


    • Convert 30% of your attack damage to critical damage

    or


    (Increase minimum crit damage by 50%)

    (Increase maximum crit damage by 25%)






    LP1-1.pngBlade Frenzy [Passive]


    Gain SF when hitting an enemy. Passively gain SF in set intervals.

    Collecting a certain amount of SF will activate Frenzy Mode (50%).
    Increasing Lily's maximum stamina by 10.

    L1-3.png Scythe Strike [Active] (Update)


    SF cost: 20

    Cooldown: 8 sec.


    Step through the shadows to appear behind your enemy. Swiftly raise the scythe. Enemies will be launched in the air with a double slash.


    • Range has been increased by 1 meter
    • Hitbox radius has been increased by 30%

    If charged, it launches the enemy higher.
    The ability increase the damage dealt of your next aerial attack by 20% for 3 seconds

    • Slow effect for 2 seconds.



    L1-1.pngDiabolo Spin [Active]


    Cooldown: 10 Seconds

    SF cost: 30

    Dash forward, using the speed perform a spinning slash.

    Quickly rotate the scythe, pushes out the enemy at the end of the blow.

    • Knockback range has been decreased by 35%
    • Cooldown has been reduced by 2.5 seconds

    Release a death god and attack the enemy while rotating the sickle with high speed.

    • SA 394% (+28%)

    Death GrinderDeath Throw [Active]


    Cooldown: 20 sec.

    SF cost: 20


    Attack by throwing the scythe like a boomerang. Attract the enemies attacked when the scythe comes back to the owner.

    • Range has been increased by 10%
    • Damage has been increased by 11% per lv.



    L1-9.pngReaper's Call [Active]


    Only available in the air. Summons the Grim Reaper, launching the enemies in the air. It will attack the enemies in the air.


    • Hitbox radius has been increased by 20%
    • Range has been increased by 1 meter





    L1-12.pngDeathly Triad [Active]


    Cooldown: 35sec.

    SF cost: 60 (40)


    The Grim Reaper with two scythes appears, swinging them along with Lily. The ground smash creates three shock waves that will hit the enemies in the range.

    • Lily is able to cancel the ability
    • Casting speed scales with your current attack speed (exclude Akasha cards)

    (Example: 135 Attack Speed = -0.35 seconds cast time / after burn)

    Cooldown: 45sec.

    SF cost: 75 (65)


    Surrounds and restraints the enemies with chains, pushing them under a summoning gigantic guillotine.

    • Slow effect 70% for 5 sec.
    • Range has been increased by 30%
    • Damage has been increased by 63% per lv.
    • SA break has been increased by 12% per lv.


    (Note: This ability still require a complete revamp, this is just a gap closer)

    Releasing enraged shadow spirits to attack all targets in the area for 6 sec. You generate 2 SF each time a shadow attacks.

    • Damage 78%
    • SA break 32%

    Release a empowered Guillotine with chains. The chains coil around all enemies within 15 yards, pulling them back into the area whenever they try to flee.

    • Increase the primary damage of Guillotine by 112%
    • Reduce SF cost down to 55 from 65

    Cooldown: 16

    SF cost: 30


    Summons the Grim Reaper in front, the Grim Reaper connects the enemies with a chain, they are drawn towards the center of the attack range.


    • Range has been increased by 3 meter

    Increase the attack range.


    • 100% chance to stun your targets (idea by Rivertha(HOQ) to make her viable for PvP)
    • Range has been decreased by 1.5 meter

    • Silence effect for 4 seconds. Silence does not work against district bosses, just a simple interrupt. (PvE exclusive)
    • Silence effect for 2 seconds. (PvP exclusive)
    • Range has been increased by 1.5 meter (0.5 per lv.)

    Every minute while HP is lower than 50%, decrease SF consumption, increase critical damage, increase armor penetration for 10 seconds.

    Every time Lily uses an ability she receives 1 shadow orb (up to 3 times) that empowers her weapon, upon 3 orbs dealing 300% additional damage for her next basic attack in a wide area and increasing her SF regenration by 96% for 2 seconds. Her movement speed is increased by 35% for 2 seconds whenever the effect is active.


    (8 seconds cooldown)

    • Attack speed has been increased by 10% (persistent)
    • Reduced stamina costs by 25% (persistent)

    • SF consumption: -30%
    • Critical damage: +2500%
    • Armor Penetration: +30%

    It creates a powerful tornado to attack the enemies in front.


    • Damage has been decreased by 14% per lv.
    • Range has been increased slightly

    (May a rework soon)

    Summons a tornado that moves towards the enemy


    • Damage has been decreased by 10%
    • Tornado is moving slightly faster
    • SA Break has been increased by 7%


    L1-11B.pngSpread [Extension]


    The created whirlwind weaves forwards.

    Transform into a Hurricane for 5 sec, reducing incoming physical damage by 15% and drag nearby enemies into the whirlwind.

    Enemies in the wind are getting slowed by 60%.

    • SA break has been increased by 44% per lv.
    • Damage has been decreased by 16% per lv.

    After doing a rotation slash, cut the front enemies alongside the summoned Grim Reaper.

    Steal HP from the afflicted enemies, and heals HP of oneself.

    • HP gain has been activated for PvP with 35%
    • Cast is slightly faster (-0.3)

    The reaper's cry increases the chance of critical hits for you and your team.


    • SF consumption has been reduced to 65 (down from 85)

    Increasing the elemental resistance (Sin,Hate) for you and your team by 3/6/9%


    This aura is ready for every class, all of them gonna get different resistances.

    Cooldown: 20 (30)

    SF cost: 45


    Deform the sickle to the scimitar form to attack. LMB to quickly perform repeated attacks on the spot for a period of time.


    • Buff effect: 50% Armor Break
    • Armor Break has been reduced by 20% (down from 70)
    • Damage has been increased by 50%


    L1-8A.pngThrough [Extension]


    You ignore a portion of the enemy's defence.

    Empower your summoned reaper. The reaper is casting Carnage instead of Lily, you're able to move. Lily gain 30% armor break while your reaper is active. You gain 20% additional armor break if you attack together.


    • Hitbox has been increased by 15%
    • Cooldown reduced by 12 seconds.
    • Damage decreased by 25%

    Joining the sickle and the scissors and do a lash rush in the front. It attacks enemies and moves forward by command.


    LMB: Cuts forward enemies and makes short rush.

    RMG: It moves quickly towards the front.


    • Damage: 3314%
    • SA Damage: 3140%
    • SF cost: 55
    • Cooldown: 30 sec.
    • Lily is able to cancel the ability

    Cooldown: 55

    SF cost: 70

    Required Level: 58


    Lily cast in a battle stance, waiting for your next command


    Details:

    • LMB: Damage 2626% (5/5)
    • LMB: SA Break 1741% (5/5)


    • RMB: Damage 818% (5/5)
    • RMB: SA Break 396% (5/5)

    LMB Cast a fast moving single hurricane with a small ground trail in crosshair direction. While breaking through enemies performs up to 5 hits with a high amount of damage and lift small enemies in the air.


    RMB Lily releases quick spreading shadow winds around her, 12 small tornados go radial direction from her creating a big area. (like one of Nita's attacks), every small tornado deal slightly reduced damage. Each tornado can hit target individually so you can release a lot of damage standing close to the targets.

    Increase Critical Damage.

    Every Soulforce you spend has a 15% chance to be refunded.

    Please don't make SF gain RNG, rather increase the natural SF gain of abilities to the point where each individual ability would restore up to 50% ish of its SF costs when full hits have been achieved. This way you have a good mixture of both win condition and consistency.


    And I feel like the rest of the attention needs to be focused at quality of life changes for some of her actives - you already know which ones I'm thinking of.

  • You missunderstood ;)

    Every SF point you spend have a chance by 15%, which means if you spend 20 its possible that you get 1 or 10 or 15 depends on your luck.


    But its still very strong. Mechanics like this work fantastic ;)

    I mean its not a bad concept but ill think of something and sorry for late reply. trying to finish this event in Girls' Frontline

  • Really like this, adding a mix of old and new mechanics which also stretches it further to make a character more unique to themselves. Not a full advancement but enough to be called a game changer, like it :thumbup:

  • Give her a skill where she applies a buff on her next 5 left clicks. Each hit has increased damage, drains SF from her enemies and each left click lowers her cooldowns by 1 second.


    Her Aerial has no business being 28 secs long cooldown. It's a great filler when you run out of SF and you have to jump up in the air. The problem is that Lilly runs out of SF like every 3 ability used and you feel awful about not having your aerial ability. 18-20 secs is much more realistic, it's less than 700% damage FFS, Iris has 900% on 8 secs cd on a bigger aoe.


    This connects to the point that Lilly spends time in the air, if she doesn't get knocked up, she shouldn't take extra damage. It's really not much, but it gets annoying when I see the aerial text pop up and I'm like, hey I'm trying to fight here, you know.


    Deathly Triad looks like a shotgun-like ability. It should act as one. Other classes at this point in the skilltree have full heals, 3k% damage moves, being immune to damage, then you have Deathly Triad with 1.3k% damage. Like there are 3 lines going out, let them each get a hit, Lilly is meant to be this sophisticated, place your abilities well class, Deathly Triad is a throw it out at some point for garbo damage.


    Guillotine is poop in every way every possible. Lilly lacks huge AoE that deals damage, so she has an ult to group midi-bosses. Except she can't do it since the gathering range of her ult is too small. Plus I think the devs thought that Lilly gets this gathering ability for free, so they decided it should deal no damage. But I feel she got the gathering ability since she lacks big AoE. Lilly's paying double price with her ult. Plus long animation, plus it doesn't root, plus #walkingawayfromit. Seriously, being able to move mobs is so situational that it should come for free. Other classes don't pay such cost for whatever their ult does.


    Switch Death Throw's damage and SA break. It's an ability to kill trashmobs, make no sense to have more than twice as much SA break than damage on it. Plus the ability is full trash in GC.


    I understand that Lilly is the best Akasha user since Die-Phoon is best Plastica ability and Lilly having the highest armour break, crit% and crit damage stat, but how about hooking me up with those cards first. I opened like 1000 Akasha transmitters and I only have tier 2 trash pandas. Please based GF, gimme a hidden Plastica and hidden Rita and I will only complain about my 17k crit damage Lilly doing worse than some rando 12k crit damage Haru at WB, GC clears would be gucci.


    Seriously, who thought that SA break is a good stat, and Lilly should have 30-40% longer cooldowns, 20-40% less damage, 20% higher SF cost for it?

    Wait, let me think about it, I have a idea maybe (But I must be careful that it isn't too strong). I want to keep her balanced (current + advanced)

    I know what you mean, its also kinda boring and annoying that Phoon+Carnage is her only one real damage output in the game.

I want a sf reduction of my lvl42 skill on Iris, based on these stats it's a huge DPS increase for Lilly which makes the other classes be behind. I understand Lilly has sf issues, but top Lilly players in kr maximize its full potential to make it compete with the others. Lilly is the hardest class to optimize.

  • Well it seems kinda nice, i like especially Terror Chain - CC idea.


    But imho any form of other cc than slow would make Lily a lot better. Either on Terror, or Guillo should really root, when you throw those big a*s chains on enemies to drag them, they shouldnt be able to run away from there again lol not fan of slow.


    If slow i think i would pref it this way -->switch it Terror chain -70% movement for 2s (since its already "dragging" in, it would be nice to even slow them there and on other hand give gullotine some form of stun + bigger aoe. (even tho i know it has 2nd Terror chain extension, but i still have feeling guillotine needs to be really fearable skill, when its "beheading machine" lol.)


    Other tweaks seems fine to me. Triad needs basically atleast to be cancelable. Supernatural/Ignore painseems interesting but maybe bit too OP even tho i would love it as Lily player. xD

    But nice ideas, would be cool if they would consider it.

    I mean, if you want to connect damage dealt to SF cost, Lilly would have free skills, while release Iris wouldn't be able to cast a single skill since they would all cost more than 200.


    By optimizing you mean KR Lillies had to +9 their armour, then run around at half health to deal slightly less damage than the average other class.

  • The part with Supernatural/IP need some math later on, I mean all classes have a utility ability like a shield (Jin, Erwin etc.)

    May 20% is enough, I must sim it before with a live combat log :)


    Anyway thanks a lot, I'll see that I can improve some stuff a bit to keep it balanced with other classes (equal fairness)

    You need to play better is a high skill character with good mechanic in pvp.
