This problem has been fixed for me and most of my friends. However, yesterday (8/3/2018) I created a new character on another friend's account and there was no Iris event there.
It's strange that this occurs only on that one account. (I also tried creating new characters on others' accounts and they all worked well.)
There are no Iris sprint event on some accounts

No. I have tested on my account and my other friends' accounts also but the problem only occured on that one acc; so I'm a bit confused

Yeah I thought that the same, however only some (or 1) account(s) have this problem
