Just wondering since ive seen more and more people say gfs the ones behind the gold sellers themselves and is allowing them so i just wondered what the community thinks.
Do You Think GF Profits From Gold Sellers?

And what is this rationale for thinking this when (1) people buying from gold sellers means money is spent on in-game stuff and that money is not going to Gameforge, when otherwise those same people would have bought stuff from Gameforge if gold sellers were not an option and (2) every other game fights gold sellers as they eat into the company’s profits?
The only possible explanation is the Gameforge are the gold sellers themselves, but then just why would they do this since it ruins the reputation of the games quality which indirectly affects profits, when they can just sell dzenai directly in the ship if they had to??
Less conspiracy theories and more rational thinking please.

Gold sellers exist in every game, and no publishers/developers aren't the gold sellers themselves.
Its still a crime but companies like Webzen are introduced with gold sellers and even support them. It isn't legal and a crime.

Honestly would love legal action to be taken on gold sellers then the money is supplied to the >developer< of said game that it impacted

webzen is just corrupted with their gms and VL(player representative) system

They need better regulation for those gold sellers.
I see Hangame (KR) controlling and monitoring dz flow and ban frquently.
There are just too many flaws in this version of SW.
Greedy RNG lootbox cash grab, unstable crashes, desyncs, boss teleporting, hitbox issues, horrible login reward (You get worse reward every tier reward for login box) etc.

The crashes are in every version

Login/stay reward is just plain terrible, it's like getting garbage through your mail.

Not a single time I crash when I played KR version. So there's that.

Yeah and what's good about KR version unlike this one, they have login reward for each character instead of account daily login. Market for most of stuffs are fairly cheap and affordable including costumes.

Depends, as we've known for a long time gold bots get in the way of their revenue. This is done by methods we already know, so I won't cover anything inside that particular topic. So, here are a few scenario I could think of:
Case A) Gameforge are the goldsellers
Benefits:
- A more flexible revenue where they can profit from any side. This allows them to have even more money than previously
- They can track and control players/buyers who have bought from them easily. They can choose to ban them anytime, It could be after you stopped buying or after a certain amount of time has been met
- Low risk, high reward. Chances of finding credible evidence or sources will be a difficult task. To be found out there must be a leak from the inside, if otherwise nearly impossible.
Disadvantages:
- If such is leaked from the inside Gameforge could potentially face many lawsuits, and at worst, the close down of the company itself.
Case B) Gameforge have a partnership with a golselling party
Benefits:
- Same flexibility revenue of Case A, but limited amount of profit. Considering this is a partnership, there has to be a fee or a percentage distributed among both parties; less profit than Case A.
- If they want to ban or monitor, they can negotiate to obtain the list of buyers for a reasonable amount of money, this will certainly harm their profit.
Disadvantages:
- High risk, medium reward
- There are at a high risk of being exposed which will eventually lead to a lot of problems similar to the ones mentioned in Case A.
Case C) Gameforge Is not involved, but are taking benefit from it
Benefits:
- More gold sellers equals to higher risk of inflation. Higher gold circulation increases its price per gold unit steadily. Gold sellers becomes less valueable due to the high inflation caused by buyers and other factors. The gold increases, but the cash shop does not. This could eventually lead to give more value to the cash shop itself by giving a better ratio than what gold sellers can offer.
- More stress on fair/legit players to catch up with inflation, this could lead to them using more money on than game than usual
Disadvantages:
- Depending on the situation, this could lead to less profit than the previous scenarios. At best, it could lead to more profit than both but chances for that are slim.
- Can lose profit.
This is just a few scenarios I could think of. I personally think that Gameforce is practicing Case C; however I am *not* going to accuse gameforge of anything, everything I stated is just speculation and analysis. Take it as you will.

So how do you explain that goldsellers get perma ban ?
-
GF is usually the supplier for the gold sellers.

Hello,
I can ensure you that GF is doing his best to fight against this kind of bots, needless to say that it has nothing to do with the company.
Since there is nothing to discuss about this fact, topic closed.
