There's so many bugs in the GF version of soulworker that it's almost unplayable sometimes.
Yeah right, SoulWorker isn't easy as it is now. Of course, you can level up a character to max level in 2-3 days (and don't say it isn't possible). What MMO have you played so far ?
Do you want a community full of level 60 players that asks you everyday, everytime "what is a soulstone", "what is an akasha", "how do you enhance", "can you level me up" ?
You can cry on lootboxes as you want, I don't care. Ok you're not happy with that, but stop using it as your fucking ONLY ARGUMENT.
Grind the game, don't be lazy, drop EC, WUC or DZ wich you can USE TO BUY THE COSTUME IN GAME CAUSE IT IS TRADEABLE .Oh wait, are you saying that it is "too expensive" ? Wich also means that you don't have enough to trade it with anything ?
If you REALLY wanted to have it, you'd have. Trust me. You're just too lazy to grind an EASY GAME, what you want is the WHOLE CONTENT just when it comes out, but wait if we would get it, you'd still complaining about what ?
LionGames beeing too slow releasing content ? Am I right ?
YES lootboxes are unfair. YES it may costs a lot of money just to get ONE FUCKING COSTUME. But you have a whole shop full of other costumes, and if you just keep on crying on GameForge about one thing, stop it.
that means you're just a pain in the ass.
Can you like, not lick gameforge's ass for 5 mins please?
[...]
No, i am not licking gameforge's ass. I'm just not complaining like you do. I enjoy playing this game, some choices they make might not be the best for the WHOLE community but try to satisfy EVERYONE. I'd enjoy looking at this.
Now please, shut up and play.
- Difficulty isn't necessarily a problem, it's more Gameforge and Lion Games really should have planned and spaced out long term content a bit better. What I mean by that is we have had GC for plenty of time, it should be about time we get the next phase to farming, hence Primal. A lot harder to grind than GC, not just the difficulty of the raid itself, but also that people will want primal as their main gear and will want it to be perfect.
- I honestly doubt a player will reach level 60 and be confused on simple and basic functions of the game and if they do, why do you care? Be a contributing member to the community and help people rather than drive them away by being toxic or just leaving them to sit in their own confusion.
- Loot Boxes are not necessarily a problem, I was fine with the Aurith Gods Random Box and the Upgrade Material Random box, why? Because all versions shared the exact same way of obtaining those items in the Aurith Gods Random Box.
The Upgrade Material box isn't necessarily bad because it just increases the availability of some items which are somewhat scarce in the current version.
However, self-creating loot boxes which are exclusive to only the Western version, is a terrible idea. It's practically de-valuing the Western Version. No other versions have the 'Sun Breeze Random Box', only ours. So that is already going to make people think our version is going to have a questionable future. It's going to turn people off the game.
-Grinding the game for ECs and WUCs isn't a terrible idea, but DZ definitely is. If you haven't realised the inflation kind of makes direct dz farming completely useless.
I've brought this up before, but people are no longer purchasing the Sun Breeze Random Box, because people have what they want. What happens when people stop buying these random boxes? People stop selling them as well. I have been trying relentlessly to find someone who is willing to sell them, I have not had any luck.
-"If you REALLY wanted to have it, you'd have. Trust me." I have been farming this game constantly since it came out, I hardly call that lazy. I have dedication to see Soulworker grow successfully.
Successfully DOES NOT equal milking the game and it's player base.
If we had everything in the game, we would eventually complain about not having content to keep us occupied? OF COURSE
That happens in every single game, people get bored eventually but as I mentioned before, Gameforge and Lion Games should have spread out time consuming content better. Primal would have been enough to silence the community and keep them occupied for the time being. Not a quest that takes 30 minutes to complete and is only exclusive to one class.
- "YES lootboxes are unfair. YES it may costs a lot of money just to get ONE FUCKING COSTUME. But you have a whole shop full of other costumes, and if you just keep on crying on GameForge about one thing, stop it"
This argument is ridiculous. It basically revolves around "I don't like that type of fashion, so you shouldn't either. It's one costume out of tons I LIKE" People may not like what the Cash shop offers and may very much want that specific costume. I waited through the whole summer for that set, super excited. Just to be completely disappointed with lootbox situation.
You know what I did?
I had a terrible experience with the Aurith Gods Random Box, 0 clothing pieces and no wings out of 170+ lootboxes. I left some constructive criticism which was supposedly forwarded to the marketing team. But I thought "hey maybe gameforge listened and maybe made the drop chances a slight bit more fair or rewarding"
They did none of that, 150 Sun Breeze boxes for some shoes, one of the most available pieces of the set when it comes to the market.
They didn't listen to feedback and milked me out of more money, and I can guarantee it wasn't only me who was completely fooled by Gameforge.
The whole lootbox situation strikes fear into people for the future of this game, they don't want to have to wait months and months for their favourite outfit just to have it locked behind a lootbox. It drives away the fan base to other versions which are more capable of pleasing the fans.
Personally I don't think you are "licking gameforge's ass", you are entitled to your own opinion. But please look at some statistics of the game. Our numbers have dropped heavily since release. Yes that happens to every game. But it's more fearful to hear veterans and longtime fans leave the game and move to other versions which consider the fans and their feedback.
You can enjoy the game, I personally love Soulworker, I love the characters, the playstyle, the theme, everything.
But the actions which Gameforge are taking seem to be more in line of
Money -> Players -> Other stuff
As a publisher their job is to make money off a game. But making money doesn't have to mean milking and down right taking advantage of fans. They're driving the last of their player base with content neglection and blatant desperate attempts to force players into gambling for what they want.
As a side issue, Gameforge has still yet to tackle bots, which has seen minimal effort since the launch of Soulworker. Gold sellers / buyers have made an irreversible effect on the game. New players will have to find a way to cope with the inflation of the market, because DZ farming just isn't efficient as it is in other versions. They could have sorted temporary solutions for the time being, however have not chosen to take action no matter how small.
I respect your opinion to continue supporting. But peoples complaints with this game are not invisible nor are they made up issues, and its complaints you should respect as well. These complaints are made and constructed to better the game, no matter how insignificant of a drawback it may seem to you, a drawback is still present and will constantly continue to drive away players until Gameforge realises they're damaging the game more than helping.
I want to play SW with many people, actually it doesn't matter which server, the cities are empty and nobody is doing anything anymore.
SW with 5 active players isn't fun, I miss the people I played with and I want to bring them back to the game but I can't offer them any good news to motivate them actually.
