it is understandable that it's all part of the contract for publishing, i'm just venting my disappointment as least ... not really mean to blaming any party... generally speaking, many of these kind of disappointment in mmo especially mmo from asia published to the west [i think] is due to the different mindset of publishers, developers and player base...

Same as the other versions, we will also get the advancements one after another, not all at once, since even though it was requested, it unfortunately could not be supported by the developer.
Thanks for the input threea. If may I ask, does this mean that same as the other versions, will the advancements come once per month or is it possible to at least squeeze two advancements or updates in a month?
Also, are we going to the see the community Q&A at gamescom soon?

Hello everyone,
as mentioned already in this thread, our version will eventually release the same content as the original version.
Please keep in mind that the overall scheduling is decided along with the developer: we were aiming for Primal to be released first, but it was not possible. For that reason, the order of the updates had to change for our version, since Primal will not be released now, but will follow right after the upcoming update.

If the advancement is the case of one by one, please don't make people wait long for it.
It causes the game to be heavily unbalanced. The advancement quests are tiny and I'm gonna be amazed if both LG and GF can only manage 1 per month -

We pursue having a faster release pace for the advancements and they won't be too far from each other, however we cannot guarantee right now that this will be the case. For example, the advancements of Erwin and Stella are currently scheduled to be only 2 weeks apart from each other. We will try our best to make this happen, but keep in mind there might be changes to the schedule!

So yet again Lion Games are delaying things for no reason. I understand in KR that the gaming community is large and gaming addiction is a thing there hence why we got this energy system, but releasing advancements once a month when all of them are already released just doesnt cut it.
Are you guys using advancement releases as events? is that it?
Well with how LG is doing this I hope that they give us these 1 by 1 releases at a reasonable timely matter.....
-
So maybe just show us the schedule of updates? It won't be hard i think.

I can 100% understand the frustration, keep in mind LG is an 8 person dev team though

I've been trying to push GF to release a roadmap for the community for months, completely turned down the idea many times

Yea i know but community will be happy if +- we will know what will happened in this last months of this year.

And the second problem is Golden Citadel raid when on some servers players can't do it beacuse of few players on server

I guess it's bc anything can happen which could break the schedule. But they could at least tell us the order in which content is coming out, that should barely ever change

tbh the excuse of LG consist of only 8 person dev team isn't gonna make the community less frustrated actually...
As far as business concerns, if you have too many costumers to tend to or tasks then increase your resource (or in this case a bigger team or more team)

Their funding is very short, even if they have a decently sized community. It's not like they can just ask, SW almost shut down if it weren't for a miracle which occured in Korea months back
A certain publisher basically made LG lose on of their only chances of pushing SW into a bigger stage. Gameforges poor maintaining and managing skills stopped soulworker from being a western success. -
but they manage to release mobile version of sw isn't? That should use a lot of resource right?

Mmmm hard to say
Mobile games are a lot more simplistic and much easier to produce. It costs a lot more resources to hire more devs to keep pumping out content on the PC platform -
From my point of view as a mmo player who came from SEA region and have also been staying and playing (on and off depending on my RL) in EU region for almost 6 years now i wanna say 2 things tho:
1. Publisher for F2P mmo(almost type P2W) from the west should not expect to earn profit like how asian based publisher do because the mentality of player is different across region but using a more befitting business model
2. Asian game developer team should also consider the pattern of how western players react to updates etc and not be rigid on using the same update scheduling methods etc.
Due to these 2 reasons, i think many big name Asian MMO didnt really survive long in the western region

yes i know them being short handed but GF are the ones that have to implement these updates for this version, of course with the assistance of LG. and with that the 8 man deal should not be an excuse anymore at least involving this version and GF. I agree with what Soulist says that some asian devs dont understand that other regions react differently to updates mainly western region.
Ive played a different game that was also develop by KR devs that had different regional versions of the game just like SW has but thing is when changes like balance changes happens. The balance changes always goes into effect on all versions at the same given time. Im just saying...might because its a completely different game.....
Like i said I hope its not a month wait but at most 2 weeks wait for each advancement.....

Did they delete one of their posts or am I hallucinating? I thought I read a post that said that we will get advancement (in order) for Haru, Lilly, Erwin, and Stella this year and Jin/Iris next year. I don't see that post anymore.
Anyways my guess at their update schedule for this year is :
- early Sep : Haru Adv (already confirmed)
- late Sep : Primal
- mid Oct : Lilly Adv
- early Nov : Erwin Adv
- late Nov : Stella Adv
