Ok so, one of my friends is trying to buy stuff from the cash shop and he simply can't.

Whenever he tries to buy something, anything, it says "not available".

Any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it?

He's using stream client, by the way.

Thought I might spread the word since there is no topic about this at the moment.

    EDIT:

DO NOT redeem the code if you play form outside of Gameforge's service area.

Got jebaited and made my account blocked GG

I live in SEA And tried to claim it next thing i knew is i was blocked and contacted support and got this

So anyone playing outside from given provided server try not to use the code you'd get the same fate.

I do not want to see a server merge, the economy will go awry, then u get the crossed isp's which can cause all sorts of issues in game, no thanks.

If we follow your logic then GF should admit how they're a bunch of sellouts and only open servers for the rich boys of EU.

I wouldn't even be mad. I would finally have a good reason to learn some german.

Like, the part of the inflation that's actually negative inflation and not A+B=C would result from the discrepancy between the amount of cashers held by each server.

Like let's imagine DE has 10 cashers and EN has 5 and they would merge. The new server would have only 15/20 needed cashers to sustain the previous rate (looking at it from the perspective of "efforts invested vs good gained" rather than the actual price), thus, in this imaginary example, the prices of premium items would increase by 25%. That's a small price to pay for not playing alone if you ask me. Like, I personally buy my own SC and the only thing I really care about is to not play on an empty server.

Dude, your one argument you keep hammering on is that what I said doesn't fit and thus it is irrelevant (even though you're wrong and you either know it and you're trolling me or your a bit ... @edit). You can't actually attack the main points and you know it, oterwise you would have done it by now. Like the argument hasn't progressed A BIT. We're not getting anywhere with this fiesta. For me it really feels like you keep taking advantage of the fact that you can't get punished for pretending to be incompetent.

Let's say you won. I litteraly can't wait to be part of the next easter event clone. That's gonna be fun! Oh boy! (jk the ester event was actually repulsive to say the least)

    Edit by 25arp26, Inappropriate content

Events are kinda like chocolate cake (or whatever fits your fancy).

You can have chocolate cake once in a while and it's great, it's SO good ... but you can't have chocolate cake for every meal of the day, for the rest of your life.

So you want me not to argue with you. Alright. Wonderful.

Also, as a last atempt to tl;dl, since you refuse to digest what I wrote.

If events happen to become a game's only lifeline, that game is 100% running on borrowed time. That's not a healthy approach on the long run (like, you see, the 2 ideas do intersect at some point). The stuff you like to call irrelevant came into existence because I don't want to believe that SW is going to die. I just want things to be fine. Well, who knows. Guess we'll live and see :)

At the moment we're kinda in the middle, which is not dead but not alive either.

Well your previous point was about fixing some of this game's problems (like players not logging in) through events. I just came and added layers of ideas upon that, like build upon the structure you have started. One thing leads to another. It's normal.

Also, it's not that much text and I've put some effort into writing it. If you don't want to transform this into a monologue for yourslef then do attempt to read it. You trying to win this argument on an empty stomach is actually what's not being productive.

    • I'm not saying events are irrelevant.
    • The Easter event was garbage. So bad. Simply SO bad. imo GF needs to allocate more resources for their events.
    • Having something to buy from the market is also a window towards making progress. At the moment Candus is dead in this sense.

Farming in this game also needs a tweak.

Like, the non-premium currency side of this game and the premium currency side of it need to be more interdependent. I feel that, at the moment, cashers don't really have a reason to cash in big amounts (and the release of primal is not going to change this).

    PS:

Now that I think about it, the balance between RNG and consistency is also screwed up. It's screwd up in the sense that, even if you load up with the intent of gearing up, you're likely to get very inconsistent results off your investment, all across the board (and this scares people off). Like, sure, you can convert fashion into raw money ... but then what?

One easy step in the right direction would be to remove the soulbound function completely, thus allowing vets to sell their already tuned-up items to newbies who would pay for them. Does this make sense to you? And there are a billion of things like this that need to be adjusted, you can't have a great game when you don't even have the basic elements.

A game which depends on events to survive ... that's pretty sad.

Like, don't get me wrong, I'd kill for an event. The problem is that people should login for the actual game.

Furthermore, if you compare this game with similar games that revolve around dressup you will clearly see how our problem is not the lack of events but the low supply of premium content on the market.

There are a bunch of things screwing us over, starting from the bots, to people who buy from the bots, to general trust issues, to the ridiculous prices GF set for the premium currency, to the lack of a healthy PvP environment and finally cashers being spread across too many servers.
